'hotel is clean and great location to downtown. Only real "complaints" are sliding door to the bathroom does not provide any privacy at all. And as weird as this sounds they hve this really weird configuration for light switchs. there is some master switch that controls everything and you cant figure out how to turn off individual lights without turnign everything off. really wierd honestly.'

'Nice breakfast options, although only fruit was gluten free. They need a dedicated hot water source for tea. Staff was very friendly and helpful - especially Buddy in the breakfast area! Room was great, quiet, with comfortable beds, and parking was very convenient, attached to hotel. Would stay here again!'

'The Finnley is more an Air B&B than hotel. Excellent location, easy access, and felt private. The room was very well decorated feeling like a loft apartment. The bed was comfy. The only recommendations I would give to the property manager would be to provide more towels and a larger trash or a suggested place to take trash. A note: there is no parking at this hotel. The parking garage across the street cost us an additional $48 per night.'

'Such a beautiful hotel with friendly and helpful front desk help. Extra security measures in place for guest staying. Ate at Burger Theory and it was an excellent meal! Did not have the breakfast. My room was close to the highway and it was a tad noisy but nothing serious. Short walk to all the sites downtown. I would definitely use this hotel again!'

'This was definitely a unique experience and was perfect for a quick visit to Grand Rapids for a work trip. You can walk to shops, amenities are all around, I was 4 minutes from the office and street parking was free and abundant. This was very similar to an Airbnb experience, self check-in and out without the list of tasks to do. The room was clean, bathroom was clean and the room had adequate supplies and a steamer, which was super convenient. It’s great if you need a quiet place to stay...

'Loved the separate bedroom from main room. Near to full kitchen was great for reheating and not having to go out. Facility is close to multiple restaurants and very close to Frederick Meijer Gardens which was our destination. Initially only planed to stay one night but the facility was so nice we stayed an additional night.'
