We stayed for two weeks at Labranda in march 2024. Overall we had a pleasant stay. There are a few things to note. They advertise with 'WiFi throughout the whole hotel', that is not true. The WiFi works fine in all the public areas, but not in the room. There 'should' be WiFi repeaters every 15 meters or so outside the rooms, but a lot of them are missing, or not functioning. I feel this is something that can be easily fixed, but they just choose not not fix it. The main pool is small, so if you like to actually swim some lanes, you should find a different hotel. On the plus side, the pool is heated. during our stay it was between 24 and 27 degrees. The two rooftop pools are not heated and were too cold to get into (17 deg.) The room has a large TV (for a hotel), but if you want to attach a media player or something else that needs power, you will need to bring an extension cord since there are no power outlets anywhere near the TV. Also, if you need WiFi for that, see above... The food was ok. Some people complain about lack of variation, but I think you have plenty of choice. Just don't expect a 'fine dining' experience, it is a buffet dinner after all. They allow smoking in the outside areas of the hotel, for me as a non-smoker this was unpleasant.

The staff was very friendly and were always ready to answer questions and give good advice. However, the gym was awful. Placed in the basement and needed a proper cleaning and new equipment. It’s a public gym. The pool at the hotel needs a restoration as the paint is loose.

Ganska stort hotell med bra läge nära stranden och den vacka strandpromenaden. Affärer och restauranger på gatan utanför. Nära till busshållplatser. Välstädade rum. Pooler var öppna först från kl 10 så det var inte läge för morgonsimning. Den större poolen låg delvis i skugga under dagen. God frukost men långa köar till kaffeautomaterna. Åt kvälls- buffen bara första kvällen, eftersom mat o dryck var mediokert och lokalen inte jättemysig. Stördes endast av ljud från närliggande barer natten till lördag. Wi-Fi ej fungerande på rummet.

Stayed here 10 days January for a good price. Reception staff warm and welcoming. Rooms cleaned daily and to good standard. Coridoors noisy and very windy due to design. Pool areas clean and sun beds ample amount. Pool bars good range of drinks and good service. Half the rooftop closed Spa was lovely but at a charge. Voucher was given in check in. Breakfast- weird food choices of carrots picked onions and other strange gap fillers set out in a confusing way. 3 Coffee machines which were constantly busy, saviour was the eggs however whoever cooks them mknday to Friday needs a lesson in cooking from the weekend staff. Sloppy milk tasting scrambled egg weekdays, fried eggs rationed out. Hot dogs and weird type of bacon. The dinner was the biggest let down of the whole stay. Very difficult to create a decent meal ended up eating there 5 times as so badly tasteless poor quality food. Chicken is cooked in front of a huge queue and rationed. Tasted tough and bland. They don’t waste anything from the breakfast as the hot dogs and eggs were thrown into pizzas and the bread rolls sliced in half to create pizza. If it didn’t taste of salt it was tasteless- every single item. The desserts were finger nail sized bland cakes plus ice cream. Drinks are chargeable and bit expensive for water. Staff chase after you if you don’t pay right then as it cannot be added to your room. The dining experience itself was awful - very crowded and people pushing and showing, layout very confusing.

Das Labranda Marieta haben wir für eine Woche mit All Inclusive (AI) gebucht. Wobei man schon sagen muss, dass hier das AI schon sehr eingeschränkt ist und alle Markengetränke durch billige Nacharmer-Produkte ersetzt werden (z.B. Baileys = 5,10€ oder Crema de Wiskey - noname Schokolikör - = AI) Das Hotel ist sehr hellhörig, was besonders stört, wenn über einem jemand mit Stöckelschuhen oder Holzsohlen läuft. Das Essen ist sehr unterschiedlich bei uns angekommen. Alle Vorspeisen du Beilagen waren sehr lecker, aber sobald man etwas Warmes vom Grill haben wollte, war die Qualität unterirdisch. Da schmeckt manches Kantinenessen besser. Apropo Kantine. Der Speisesaal ist von der Einrichtung so steril wie manches Krankenhaus. Auch alle Aufenthaltsbereiche sind von ihrer Einrichtung her sehr steril und nüchtern gehalten. Ein abendlicher Aufenthalt in der "Bar" (hierbei handelt es sich um einen Ausschanktresen im Durchgangsbereich") war nicht sehr ansprechend. Fazit: Die Atmosphäre des Hotels ist nicht sehr einladend, sondern nüchtern und steril. Auch das Essen und Trinken hatten auf uns eher den Eindruck eines Krankenhauses erzeugt, als den eines Hotels für über 200 € die Nacht. P.S. sollten Sie mit einem Mietfahrzeug die Woche über im Hotel sein, so müssen Sie sich leider am Straßenrand im Umfeld des Hotels einen Parkplatz suchen. Allerdings müssen sie da schon ziemlich suchen .

Good hotel, very bad food
The hotel was nice, good standard, rooms are quite spacious, bed is OK. Bathroom is not very private. Nice sea view from third floor. The restaurant on the other hand, is a total disaster. While most food was just uninspired and dull, some of it was just unedible. We ate there only the first night, the rest of the stay we went out for dinner on the town, even if it was included and already paid for at the hotel. And that's just the food, besides that, the dining room also looks like an elementary school canteen.

The hotel was really nice all of the staff where very friendly and helpful the choice of food was excellent the wonderful beach was fairly close but be warned the steep steps to it will keep you fit also the gym next door as part of the package was also very good if you want some peace and quiet then the roof terrace bar and plunge pool are perfect I was lucky enough to get a corner room on the top floor so nice views of the beach and the mountains from large balcony

Das Zimmer war gross genug, schön eingerichtet und die Sicht aus der 4. Etage war toll. Die Badezimmertüre ist aus Glas und schliesst nicht richtig ab, etwas unangenehm wenn man auf der Toilette ist. Das Personal war generell gut und freundlich nur an der Reception eher kühl und unfreundlich. Was speziell ist: Der Tausch der Pooltücher kostet 1.- €

Moderner Baustil mit schönem Meerblick. Leider bekamen wir das Zimmer mit Meerblick erst nach Reklamation ( so gebucht ) Zum grossen Teil freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Gute Funktionalität der Einrichtungen. Bett mit guter Matratze. Ein einfaches Tresorproblem wurde erst nach 3x Meldung durch einen sehr freundlichen Haustechniker behoben.Dafür einen Defekt am Badezimmertürrahmen sofort abends spät durch den Haustechniker professionell erledigt. Frühstück mittelmässige Auswahl mit z.T. schlechter Qualtät ( Brötchen extrem hart / vom Vortag ? / beinahe jeden Tag ! ) Kennzeichnung der Gäste in Essenskategorie mit farbigen Kunststoffbändern am Handgelenk extrem unkomfortabel, erinnert an "Judenstern". Dafür gibt es heute viel bessere Möglichkeiten z.B. Digital / Barcode oder Gutschein etc. Lage ruhig und alles zu Fuss erreichbar.

A good hotel. Highlights include the staff, the proximity to the beach, and the gym which uses a local gym club with whom the hotel has a partnership with. Breakfast could be improved with real fresh orange juice, rather than the "juice drink" from a tap. Be aware that some evenings there is loud music from a local club - not the fault of the hotel, but bring earplugs to sleep! No parking - we parked for free on the nearby street Calle Gánigo.

On arrival after a log travel day and checked in to the room we noticed that the wall behind the bed was full of bugs, hundreds of small bugs crawling around. Went directly to reception and they offered to clean the room but I said NO, I dont want to sleep in a room full of bugs, even if the swipe the floor, walls etc, they are there... I asked for a new room directly but I got NO for an answer, hotell was fully booked. Then I said they I wanted my money back or that they could fix a new room in another hotell. Then, all of a sudden there was a room that we could take on the same floor. We took it and it was good. The food was average and some days it was total chaos in the kitchen and it was all a mess, hours left of the lunch and it was empty and slobby. We could see that the quality in the food area became better later in the week. The terrass on the roof was very nice, went there every evening to a drink and watch the ocean. Some staff were very nice and some didn't even say hello. Overall it was a OK week but we expect more from a 4 star hotell, been at many of those in GC and Marieta is not even close to the others we are sorry to say

Fantastisk sted!!
Vi boede på et delux dobbelt værelse på fjerde sal med udsigt ud over havet. Maden var skøn og det samme med bar, pool, service mm. Vi havde all inklusiv på hotellet. Jeg kan kun anbefalede det her skønne sted!!

Kære Christina,Tusindvis af rejsende bor hos os hvert år, men vi er stadig lige så glade som den første dag, hvor en kunde fortæller os, at deres ophold på hotellet var tilfredsstillende.
