'Fun place'

'Great location in Lakeview just off the Bellmont stop. Was here on a long layover and had plenty of options for dinner and breakfast within steps of the hotel. Hotel is older, but very well maintained.'

'Close to Wrigley Stadium but still very quiet. Near several transportation options - trains and buses. Area is walkable and lots of restaurants block or two away. Staff is nice and areas are kept clean. Fridge and kitchen available.'

Rooms are a bit small and stuffy, with no view or possibility to open windows in the bottom rooms, although the owner unscrewed one of the closed windows for us to let in a bit of fresh air. 'I recently stayed at The Villa in the Euro Room, and it was such a lovely experience. The mansion was incredibly clean and beautifully styled, with so many charming details to admire.
