This is an older motel, reasonably well kept. First, the positives: The room was clean, bed was comfortable, a/c worked well, bathtub stopper worked. Now the negatives: Upon checking in at 5:00 pm, there was a sign on the door that said "working outside". So I looked around outside and saw no one. I rang the buzzer on the counter, and after a good while, an elderly lady came from the back. She hardly spoke English at all, but I gathered that her daughter had gone somewhere and she would phone her. Then she disappeared to the back. So me and another customer waited approx ten minutes till the younger woman appeared. Finally I was able to check in. This was very aggravating, since we wanted to check in, then quickly head to a granddaughters graduation. The second problem was the big one. The room smelled very musty, like the carpet had been wet. We thought with the a/c turned on, the room would smell better when we returned hours later. Nope - still musty. Now we were too tired to complain, so we just tolerated it. If I had it to do over, I would have certainly requested a different room.

Property was old but clean and updated. Only problems were musty smell, probably from carpet and non-functional bath stopper. No continental breakfast. Overall, worth the money

Management was very friendly. Property is nice and very convenient to downtown, Goliad. It was very quiet inside my room even though there were quite a lot of people staying at the hotel this weekend. Internet was fast and tv worked, too! Hot water on demand.

Had it all
I've been to many hotels and airbnbs for work, and this one was great because it had everything a room needs - even the practical things that somehow get left out of so many airbnbs and some hotels - such as a table with chairs, a folding table for the suitcase, a fridge, a microwave oven, even silly things like a garbage can (I've had those missing in some rooms believe it or not!) or a box of tissue paper. It had it all so I was extremely satisfied!! Would recommend this hotel!

Antler Inn
We had a great stay at this Inn. Everyone was nice, place was clean and well kept, everything was well lite at night and over all everything was great. Only negative was the breakfast. We had 2 choices Rasin Bran or Frosted Flakes with OJ and an apple. That was it. But on the plus side they had a great ice machine. We do a lot of hiking so a lot of ice every day :-). I would defintely stay here again but bring my own breakfast

The room was perfect. Bed was comfortable and shower was nice. We had trouble with the tv, but the desk clerk was nice enough to make it work. Only thing I didn’t like was the cleaning ladies were knocking on our door at 8:30am, then at 9am. We had a do not disturb sign on our door. Apparently they don’t read English.

Its a dated property but for a one night stay and the price, definitely worth it. Very clean with minimal maintenance needed for an old building. We would stay again. Very convenient to Goliad's town square.

The room is HUGE! So nice to be able to put my luggage down and still have plenty of room to move around the room. There is a small dining table, a desk area, a king size bed, two night stands, mini-fridge, microwave, and a dresser, all in the room and it's not crowded! Then there's a large bathroom with a separate area for the sink and clothes hanging rack. Plus there is a full size ironing board with an iron in the room. I could not be more pleased with the room!

Older motel but clean and comfortable
Antlers Inn is an old motel but it is clean and comfortable and serves the purpose I needed while visiting my family. It is reasonably priced and check in was friendly and fast.
