Parking was underground and there were many exterior stairs to access room. No milk was supplied to make tea and coffee and there wasn't daily housekeeping.

We booked last minute so it was understandable that we received the email for check in after we had already checked in advising the code etc. However, once the phone got connected with customer care, it was a smooth check in. Took few seconds only. Room was nice and clean , just some minor marks on walls . We are on the back side , front will pool facing seemed nicer. Our room was upstairs and there is no lift as it’s a double storey building, hence anyone with kids or elderly people or specially abled people should mention at the time of check in so that they can get ground floor rooms. Tram station is close by so it’s easy to commute. Surfers paradise is just at a walkable distance , hence good for tourists. Areas of improvement ( not complaints) for hotel : White / cold lights have been used in rooms and hence going for warmer theme would better for overall experience as we were tired and those lights were hurting our eyes. The bedside lamp is right in the middle on top of the headboard so obviously if only one person wants to used the other one would get affected. Garage seems to have never been washed, very dark and dingy , doesn’t feel safe if you are all by yourself. Corridor had a bit of smoke smell. Anko/ cheap products have been used in rooms , could be better considering the price being charged. But overall not bad for short stays.

Poor directions on access. You have to go through the underground car park to an unmarked door in order to get access to the rooms. Poor hours of front desk; 5 p.m. closingenda to the inconvenience factor. Attendant i spoke to 1st said he'd texte the instructions for site access but latwr emailwd them to me as texts weren't successful Very poor customer service. I would not recommend this hotel/motel to anyone.

The staff prior to checking in were extremely difficult to deal with. Wouldnt allow my husband to check in even after me calling 3 times to give permission. Still made it difficult when they were given everything they requested. Also happened to get there 1 hour earlier than the 2pm checkin and they wanted to charge $15 per person even though the room was ready. Most places allow you to use the facilities or get into the room if it is ready. Motel was very old, however rooms were clean.

As per the housekeeping facilities, you can request to us for anything you want to be cleaned and if you wish to do it we have the facility but we need to request it as we cannot place it inside the unit. For the smoking, we are very strict on this one as it is part of our house rules but there are times that we have guest that is not following but we have them accountable and pay for the fine as we have housekeeping team who will report especially if there are strong smells.We look forward to welcoming you back to Gold Coast Inn soon!Best regards,Gold Coast Inn

Sehr gut gelegen zum Strand. Alles ist fussläufig erreichbar. Klar, sie liegt zwar an einer 4 spurigen Einfall- und Ausfallstrasse, aber dafür extrem nah am Zentrum.

TV not working, no table and chairs - although every picture displayed online showed these in every room - dirty cutlery. Cutlery was replaced. Guy came to check TV. He went away to check ‘main router’. Never returned. Was told to check receptionist about table and chairs the next day, but we were only there one night. In the morning, when checking out and complaining,another guest came into reception and said to me ‘oh another guest complaining’. Don’t go there

They made it easy to check in even though we didn’t get to the motel till around 2am. Convenient safe parking in their underground area kept us hopeful we wouldn’t have our rental broken into.

very disappointing run down motel extremley noisy, needs work done will not be recommending to anybody so expensive for a motel it was more like a hostel,that needs to be renovated it spoilt the holiday, do not put false advert nothing like photos,

This is a very basic property . Nothing extra , no phone for reception enquires. You have to ask for towels from Housekeeper and then get told go ask reception which is only open for three hours a day. Very noisy you can hear every door slam , person go past your door. Door has no extra security . No staff to tell you about wifi etc. for what we paid I’d expect more . The pool Was also dirty and very hot which was like a tepid pond.

With regard to no phone, we have provided you our numbers on your booking confirmation so that you can reach out to us anytime and we have reception available as well from 9am-5pm. With regard to the noise, we have included that in our house rules as we don' tolerate noise not to disturb the other guest. For WIFI, it is available at the reception. For the pool, it is cleaned everyday but it is open from the check-in time so it was used already with some of the guests. Room was advertised as a Twin Room. Imagine our surprise as a family of 4 turning up to 2 single beds. The hotel was really run down and the other patrons made us feel uncomfortable/unsafe.

Access and after hours check in complicated. Communication difficult with management. Reception only open for three hours per day. Booked two rooms but they were on different levels. Access to second floor difficult for people with limited mobility. Rooms clean but small and noisy. Dripping shower was annoying. Expensive for basic facilities.

Shared door to room next door, which was left unlocked, paper thin doors, was kept up all night by a group of Brazilians. Junkies living there. Avoid this place!!!!
