'We stayed at Mare Hotel in Cyprus for one week, choosing it for its beachfront location and advertised five-star rating. The property is beautiful, but the experience fell short. We arrived late due to our flight and found no food available after 11pm. Staff told us to order through an app and collect it at the gatehouse. For a five-star hotel, we expected late-night room service, even with a limited menu. Our room opened onto a lovely semi-private pool, but it was unheated and too cold to...

'Heel goed, prettig hotel. Zwembad heerlijk, ontbijt veel keus. Vriendelijk personeel.

'What an amazing hotel! Perfect location 10 min walk to bar street but far enough for a good nights sleep. 15 mins to the main strip, gorgeous pools and room'

'Inside pool area empty, no cold bath for sauna. Old fitness equipement. Noise in the morning from early hours in the morning of cleaners neighbour hotel resort. Bar closing 23 pm early. '

'Rooms are not cleaned only towels are changed. Carpets outside room are filthy I was scared about cockroaches. Saw rats climbing up and down the trees outside my room. Was upgraded to a sea view but the view was of trees and I was on the 1st floor (no sea was in the view) All Russians and Israeli tourists. Felt a bit out of place. Staff are friendly but hotel should be a 3 star maximum.'

'This hotel was very clean with helpful staff especially at the breakfast buffet. Situated in a very nice area and within walking distance to many other restaurants and bars including the beach.'

'Amazing choice! Rooms super clean and comfortable, used the hair salon services 10/10 The location was great and the staff were great'

'The staff were incredibly incredibly helpful. The value of the hotel is phenomenal and I find them very kind and helpful. The rooms were fantastic. The air-conditioning was wonderful. Everything about the Hotel and the people that worked there were great thank you so much. I’ve traveled for the past 40 years and highly recommend the Hotel value is phenomenal and they trear you like a five star guest Stuart'

'Midden in de stad. Alles was top! Ontbijt en avond eten heel gevarieerd.'
