'We stayed for one night. The managing couple was doing their best to make that a perfect stay. In our opinion they tried too hard which influenced the atmosphere. 'Our hosts, Greg and Susan, lend a friendly dignity to this stately, we’ll-appointed manor. Breakfast was a delicious, elegantly presented option of fruit parfait and scrambled eggs with smoked salmon or a full Scottish breakfast. Our room was spacious, the bed comfortable. A 2-minute stroll through the tiered garden took us to the downtown street which offered several wonderful restaurants. We highly enjoyed our stay.'

'Convenient and easy to get to. Clean and spacious room. We stayed in 11 which was so close to the car park and only had a few steps. Comfortable room, hot showers, nice big bed, delicious breakfast - try the whiskey porridge! We ate all our lunches and diners at The Auld Smiddy Inn and wish we couldn’t stayed longer!'

'Run don't walk and book Poplars, it was a lovely stay! Nancy welcomed us like long lost friends and made us feel at home. A beautiful property, we stayed on the top floor overlooking the mountains and rooftops of Pitlochry. So many personal touches and the property is immaculate. The guest lounge is warm and inviting too! Our stay was perfect. Breakfast was wonderful and make sure you try the porridge with whiskey! Run, don't walk.. a glorious guest house stay.'

'Gorgeous hotel in a beautiful setting. Spacious and comfortable, with pretty views. The restaurant was amazing (vegan and gluten free options too), and the grocery store/gift shop on site was a great feature (vegan, gluten free options at the store as well). We will definitely be back and would highly recommend! The golf course was excellent as well. We stayed in 12B Maxwells.'
