'The shaker museum is a great stay. It is SO reasonably priced for how nice the rooms are. The linens are all clean, and the mattress was extremely comfortable. It’s very quiet and peaceful. The grounds are beautiful and everyone is helpful and kind. It’s the perfect place to stay if you want an affordable, safe, comfortable, and clean place to stay. It’s also great obviously for a history buff as there is so much to learn about the Shakers. We will definitely be returning next year. The staff is...

'Nice and cozy place near center of town'

'Great breakfast and location.'

'If you are looking for a quiet stay in the middle of the NH Lake Sunapee region, this is your place. From the moment we stepped into the Inn to the time we left, it was a great experience. So, we changed it ourselves to heat. 3. The locks on the doors didn't really work; we had to really work them. We thought we were locked...

'This was my 3rd time staying at Dexter’s Inn and hopefully not the last. It is a wonderful inn with easy access to Mount Sunapee. '

'This was a very poor experience. We had no water for shower, and no water in kitchen sink. We checked in late at night, got up to take showers, and weren't able to do so because there was no water. We'd rented the cabin to go to a wedding and weekend events. Checked out an hour before checkout time to get to the event--unshowered-- and called the host, who didn't pick up. Left a message reporting the problem, and then we were told that we should have spoke to him to have him fix the problem...
