« A really wonderful stay at The Swan. Can’t fault a thing. Lovely, friendly staff, beautiful bedroom, great dining and bar, lots of great lounge areas and garden seating, and a super spa too. We will definitely be back - thank you! »

« Staff are very friendly, food is very good and reasonably priced. The building is lovely and full of character, however the rooms are simply decorated. The location is excellent. Unfortunately, there were no parking spaces when we arrived in the afternoon so we had to park down the street, but parking is free in Long Melford so this wasn't a problem. »

« The propertys owner helped me book breakfast, which was beautiful, when we arrived, helped me with my belongings, the room was lovely and big, it's a beautiful town with affordable Uber transport »

« Lovely stay at the foxes Den. Gorgeous property. Lovely owner. Breakfast delicious. Quiet property and very easy to find. Everything you need in the room. Would love to go back. »

« We had a great time at Rectory Manor, a lovely old georgian country house set in mature garden of trees and lawn with a swimming pool and tennis court if you want some exercise. Our room (the Hudson) was furnished in the country house style and was supremely comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom was a bit small and slightly dated. The bath was too small to properly soak. On the plus side we had an unexpected balcony that caught the morning sun whilst giving beautiful country views...

« This was the 4th time staying at the George and for the last 2 times ive a room with a very small tv. So s.all on this stay that watching the football i had difficulty seeing who was who and were the ball was. Otherwise the staff are friendly the meal i had very good. Next time unless i have a room with the bigger tv screen i wont be able to book. Neil »

« Nothing positive, from receptionist to breakfast. i have stayed here many many times and the attitude seems to have gone backwards. »

« Owners were very friendly and great at communicating ahead of our arrival. We had a fridge in our room, which was really helpful and the water and tea/coffee/biscuits left were lovely. The beds were so comfortable and we slept really well. The breakfast was amazing - really great quality sausages etc. would definitely stay again if we were ever in the area. »

« This is a great place to stay. Very handy for the town centre and Apex theatre. It’s very well presented, clean and very friendly. We will definitely return. »

« 1 night stay for a ' hallf way' meet up with friends. Lovely friendly pub, made feel welcome, really comfortable bed with good quality bedding. Breakfast good quality and lovely and hot. Only criticism would be, would have been nice to have had a pot of tea rather than individual cups at breakfast. Thank you for a really nice stay ! »

« On a passé deux nuits pour aller-retour en Ecosse. Cet hôtel est situé dans un petit village au calme mais pas très loin du centre ville. Les chambres sont propres avec des meubles et une décoration très chic, le lit est assez grand et confortable. On a aussi dîné dans leur restaurant, c’était délicieux. Le meilleur c’était le petit déjeuner anglais, c’était excellent. Ils ont aussi un parking gratuit, c’est appréciable, je recommande! »
