'What a gem of a place! Beautiful home and garden, right out of a Home & Garden magazine. The owners were wonderful hosts. They provided a warm welcome, like we (my daughter and I) were family. 'This hotel missed the opportunity to do some update’s in the 1980’s, and didn’t try to catch up afterwards. Really everything in worn out. 'Snowed Inn is beautiful! From the moment we arrived, everyone has been so warm and welcoming! We were given a tour of the property and shown to our room. It is so beautiful! The hot tub was a fantastic way to spend the evening! The breakfast options were delicious and having our table reserved for breakfast was such a great touch! Ken even offered to write down things we should see during our trip! We are looking forward to returning to Vermont and will definitely stay at Snowed Inn!'

'I wasn't disappointed in terms of value for money; contrary to the reviews, this hotel may no longer have the luster of the old Holiday Inn, but I would honestly stay there again on my next visit to Rutland.
