'The hostel is situated in a residential area. Parking is available on a residential street. The check-in process with Travis was easy. Minor issue when showing me to my private room as someone else had the same first name and accidentally showed me to that room first. But was quickly corrected. The room itself was functional. The bed was firm. The shared bathrooms was clean, but showing its age with various broken tiles. I was only staying one night in Detroit and this is definitely an option...

'Miss Q, who works at the front desk is AMAZING! She spoke to every single person with the same level of patience and care. She was so helpfully with any and all requests/questions we had! She was a true gem and needs a raise if nothing else! Hold on to her!'

'Great location! Clean, well-equipped, open and spacious apartment. We got a premium one. It was a corner apartment, so we enjoyed a lot of natural light. Cookies in the room were an unexpected and tasty treat! It was a bit noisy at night, but the white noise machine took care of that nicely. Smart touch. We plan to return some day. :)'

'The Hotel itself was not as depicted in the online photos, both indoor and outdoor were very unappealing. I booked the King Suite with jetted hot tub. During check in the staff were very condescending and rude as well as unhelpful. The walk to the room was very eye opening. Trash bins in the hall full of garbage. The reek of marijuana and the stench of mildew'

'The room was not what we expected. The beds were hard as a rock. The pillows were so thin they were barely considered pillows. We had no refrigerator. The cabinet was empty, where the refrigerator used to be. The bathroom was important condition. The toilet was barely flushing. the faucet was extremely loose. The pool was closed while we were there for cleaning, but we never saw anyone actually cleaning it and as far as the breakfast goes, it’s a bagel and a waffle or a bowl of cereal were not...

'While this was a cute old hotel with new life be breathed into it...there were a few things that were disappointing. The lobby and breakfast room is on the second floor! I did not see an elevator although there may have been one I missed. But is was a strange set up to say the least. They did have a cool Vinyl room and a pool table that you can play for free but they charge for everything else. For example the lock box for your valuables in the room! Really! Then there is NO live TV! They...
