  • "High Cotton" is the home that will have you and your guests pre-reserving for years to come! Enjoy it's high ceilings, gourmet kitchen, luxury furnishings and the VIEW! Perfect family home for a DeBordieu beach vacation. Wonderfully decorated and spacious this four bedroom home features two king size suites on the lower level as well as an open living/dining and kitchen combination. Wide porch and screened in area on the Oceanside make a perfect place to relax and enjoy the perfect South Carolina weather. Upstairs guests will find two additional bedrooms with private bathrooms and an additional living room with balcony overlooking the beach. Wifi, cable, keurig, tea kettle, elevator, garage and much more! DeBordieu is truly one of the best kept secrets of The Grand Strand place where families vacation to get away from the hustle and bustle. Enjoy this gem for a week, a month or a long weekend!

High Cotton is such a wonderful beach house. We should know, we basically spent the entire time inside! From the view to the layout of the common areas to the comfort and privacy of the bedrooms, we couldn't have asked for more. It also had the best equipped kitchen we've ever seen. We'll be back - hopefully with some sunshine next time!

We couldn't control the extreme hot weather or the jellyfish, but this well appointed beachfront home made our stay one to remember. The location on the south end of the beach felt like we were on our own private beach and we picked up some of the largest shark teeth in years. Very convienence to Georgetown's wonderful waterfront restaurants and shopping the South Strand. Can't wait to next year's vacation thru Tidelife Vacation Rentals!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We completely fell in love with everything about this house. It was immaculate upon arrival and had everything we needed for our family. You also can’t beat the location as it’s perfectly placed steps away from water. We watched beautiful sunrises with dolphins playing in the water, and then the dramatic shift of a storm coming in off the back porch. A short walk from the house gets you to the wildlife preserve area of beach which is so serene. Very hard place to leave and we will definitely be returning as often as possible.

Reviewer Comments: The upstairs A/C unit was out for the first three days of our stay which made for a few uncomfortable nights, but the TideLife staff was very responsive and the owner made an accommodation for our troubles, which we very much appreciated. Otherwise, we had a wonderful vacation. This was our second stay at High Cotton, which is in a perfect location. We love DeBordieu and have been vacationing there for ~20 years. The house was clean, well-appointed, and well-maintained. High Cotton perfectly fits our family's needs. We hope to return again.
