'Clean cabin, easy to get to with good directions. Comfortable bed and the hostess was easy to contact if you needed anything.'

'Clean property. Close to Custer for convenience of groceries and restaurants. Close to Custer State Park, Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse. Bungalow was very small. Pictures I fell were taken from angles that did not portray just how small it was. The air did not work. At first it did not blow any air, we contacted the host and they had quick response and sent maintenance out. They were not sure what the problem was and we were leaving for the day. 'The Pondside Lodge was a splendid place to stay for our trip to South Dakota! The lodge is beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The living room picture window looks out over the pond and the Needles are clearly visible in the distance. It is a very relaxing location - quiet and lovely. We saw turkeys and deer every day going to and from the lodge. The lodge is a short drive to the Custer Wildlife Loop (spectacular!), the Needles Highway (amazing!), and Sylvan Lake (stunning!).
