« Only problem I had was when I requested pillows and covers for sofa bed. One of the staff said she doesn't have time now to look for it and she'll do it later. It was 11 at night and my kids can't wait till later. She never came back so I slept with no pillows since I gave mine to my kids. »

« I loved our lake room view- but to be honest, the room smelled quite musty. And I know you shouldn’t expect much from a pull out couch, but sleeping on the floor probably would have been better. It was great to be there on opening weekend for the pool. But I don’t know if they were ready. The “hot tub” was like a Luke warm bath….and the kids pool was just not the right color. It is super convenient and close to a few great restaurants. »

« So the guy that check us in was nice. Then we didn’t see any staff the entire time we were there. (3 days, 2 nights) we couldn’t connect to the Wi-Fi. Which is kinda insignificant but our 5g work well enough. The room was nice, and the interior of the place was clean,seemed recently redone. They are fixing it up, I think they’re on the right path. « Great location and property was very nice. Our room smelled of urine…maybe because it’s a dog friendly hotel. And it was hard to regulate the temp in room with the bed right up against the air handler. Next time I would choose a higher floor to possibly eliminate a dog friendly room. »

« It is a beautiful park like setting. A true retreat. The food is mediocre at best and low value for what you pay and you can tell the staff is overwhelmed . Such a shame. Very expensive food. 1878 on the lake however was exceptional! Would come back for that restaurant alone. »

« The room was very nice, looked brand new. The pillows on the bed were bad though. The breakfast buffet was over priced and was equivalent to a free breakfast at a cheap hotel. Not a lot of variety for $25 per person and also the tip was automatically included. Both my wife and I got sick after eating the eggs. Would not recommend the breakfast buffet.
