Very dirty, nothing work

We were so upset of the cleaning, nothing was clean there were mice dropping all over the counter and the floor, some of the lights didn't work. The stove didn't work, we would lose water pressure when showering. The deck was cover in bird dropping, nothing was wash on the deck. The grills outside they for guest to use hasn't been cleaned in a very long time and to lock the sliding door u had to use a piece of wood between the door and the wall

Weekend stay

It was a great location for our stay as the view was very nice and close to everything. We could have used more blankets as the ones on the bed were very thin, hard to watch tv with the screen being behind the couch, and some updates could be done to better the stay.

Other than the weather not cooperating there are zero complaints. We did get a beautiful sunset over the lake tho. We were in the Driftwood Cottage and it looked exactly like advertised in the pictures. The waves were awesome watching from the deck. Took our little dog and no issues. There were enough towels provided for both of us, although we took our own because one review said they weren't provided. Beds were comfortable... but if youre short like me its a little difficult climbing up in it. I would suggest however bringing along your favorite pillow. Like i said zero issues, zero complaints. Would definitely stay here again. Thank your for a good experience.

Not what was advertised

The pics on Vrbo May exist but it is not what we got. When we went to check in the lady told us due to some repairs we were being up graded to lake front...so one in front of the one we booked. It looks NOTHING like the photos. It has not been updated at all, there is actual duct tape holding ply wood around the sink, the bathroom was old and dated and tiny. The living area was just part of a couch. The porch outside looked like It was separating from the house? Luckily we were only there to sleep really...we did not cook at all there and I would not have wanted to if I needed to. The office was never open any of the days we were there to even begin to make a complaint. I contacted the email given to ask about WiFi and have never received a return email. This is the first time, and I have used vrbo many times, that is was NOTHING like the pictures. I feel like this is what they do....they have multiple cottages right there on the lake, they have remodeled and post pics of only one, and then put people in the others once it’s too late to cancel, we were there and needed a place to stay. Also they don’t have towels and wash clothes in the cottage. When we checked in she asked if we brought our own....which we did not...and then were given two very small towels and 1 wash cloth?? I would not book this one again that’s for sure.
