Good location
The room where we stayed was furnished by traditional Byer style, it was very dark room. We stayed at hotel in hot days, it was difficult to sleep on an old bed without airco. But the view from balcony was beautiful.

Historik im Herzen Partenkirchens
Lage, Aussicht, Sauna und vor allem das freundliche und zuvorkommende Team sind erstklassig. Das historische Gebäude ist sehr beeindruckend, müsste jedoch einmal tiefer renoviert werden. Das Frühstück haben wir nicht ausprobiert, weil uns der Preis dafür deutlich zu hoch war. Massage, Hamam und Fitnessraum waren leider nicht verfügbar.

This was an older hotel that has been updated. It is a grand place to stay. A nice little village unique in every respect. The rooms and the bathroom were very large. Well worth staying here. The German restaurant next door was excellent--great service and great food. However, stay away from the Greek restaurant down the street. I had gyros, they were burnt to a crisp.

Wonderful Hotel
We really enjoyed this hotel. It has a lot of personality and the staff were wonderful. Everything was comfortable and very clean. The general location is really good. It's surrounded by a number of stores and restaurants. If you walk up the nearby hillside (towards the church on the hill), there's even the nicest little beer garden on the hill w/ a great view of the town and mountains. Parking is a little tough, but there is parking behind the hotel and there's a nearby underground garage about 100ft away, which costs around 5 EUR per day. We love this hotel and we'd highly recommend to anyone visiting.

Lots of character, excellent staff
A really cool hotel, very characterful and charming. The staff were amazing. The place really does need some TLC, such great architectural features and they are definitely showing wear and tear. And don't be fooled by the "free onsite parking" - there are 5 spaces in their "parking lot" and you have to use the public garage. Luckily, it's right there and only 5 Euros per day.

Etwas in die Jahre gekommen
Sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Empfang beim Check-in. Der Eingangsbereich war einem Grandhotel würdig, denke ich. Die Zimmer sind allerdings bzgl. Zustand in die Jahre gekommen. Eine hellere Beleuchtung sowohl im Schlafzimmer als auch im Bad wäre schön. Das Bett war, wie in so vielen anderen Hotels, zu weich. Pluspunkt: aufgrund eines sehr lauten Zimmernachbarn hat man uns ein anderes Zimmer angeboten, welches dann eine tolle Aussicht auf die Berge und einen schönen Balkon besaß. Frühstück hatten wir nicht gebucht, darum keine Bewertung.

Ein schönes, traditionelles Hotel in ruhiger Gegend und perfekter Lage. Vom Hotel aus lässt es sich gut zur Partnachklamm, Skisprungschanze oder in die Innenstadt(Partenkirchen) laufen. Aufgrund Covid 19 wurden Maßnahmen beim Frühstücksbuffet ergriffen, was für uns plausibel und sicher erschien. Hier wurden Mundschutz und Handschuhe getragen und jeder Tisch bekam eine eigene Kaffeekanne. Der Schwimmteich in der Mitte des Hotels lud leider aus optischen Gründen nicht zum Baden ein. Er erschien sehr grün und nicht ausreichend gepflegt. Dagegen war das Hotelzimmer gepflegt und sauber. Positiv hervorzuheben ist auch das Parkhaus in unmittelbarer Nähe mit angemessenen Parkgebühren. Wir würden dieses Hotel wieder buchen.

The hotel has sufficiant signage regarding coronavirus safety/mitigation steps, to include hand sanitizer as you walk in. The receptionist greeted us and provided helpful information on our rooms, wi-fi and breakfast.

Disappointing
The room was outdated with damaged furniture. The sauna had no towels, and there are only two towels in the room. They wanted extra for the towels to be used in the sauna. Plenty of better stays available for the price.. would not recommend nor stay here ever again. I will admit the breakfast is good, but ensure your booking has breakfast included and you can prove it. I was not the only one surprised with an extra breakfast charge when I thought I booked with breakfast, unfortunately my booking didn’t specifically say one way or the other.

Great location in the middle of Garmsich. Staff was friendly enough. The hotel is old and the rooms show some age, but it was an overall pleasant experience. It was annoying that my room didn't have any soap or shampoo, the containers were empty. Still, its a cool old hotel, if a little spooky. If there is a haunted hotel in Garmsich, its this one.

Atlas Grand is the place to stay
Quick ski trip to Garmisch. Atlas Grand was a perfect fit for us. Lots to do in the area. Has dinner there our last night and was blown away! Thanks for a fun trip.

Fantastiskt hotell väl värt pengarna. Centralt läge på en av de finaste gatorna i Partenkirchen. Suvären frukost och underbar personal. Rymligt rum med liten mysig balkong, bra Wifi.

Beautiful antique hotel. Very quaint and the views of the Alps were majestic! Only down side- they did not have AC, although it states they had on the hotels.com website.

Vackert, tyskt och vilken magisk omgivning!
Supertrevligt hotel, magisk lobby med en riktigt tysk känsla där man vill ta en öl. Utsikten från rummet var fantastisk. Vi besökte Neuschwanstein Castle på dagen (50 min bort) och vi är så glada att vi valde att åka till Atlas Grand Hotel istället för att bo närmre det slottet.
