This was a fantastic property to stay in if you are planning a trip to Yellowstone National Park! We were able to see all of Yellowstone, The Grand Tetons, Beartooth Pass and West Yellowstone from this location. We fell in love with the town of Gardiner and all that it had to offer: Activities - fishing, white water rafting, zip lining, Yellowstone Hot Springs (and more), grocery store and shops. We even caught the Gardiner Rodeo which was super fun. Being right on the Yellowstone River with gorgeous Mountain Views made our days off from activities perfect. There is a hammock and fire pit right on the river to use, and the nice kept lawn was great for outdoor games too. The experience is better than the pictures can show :)We were a family of mom and 5 adult “kids” - an additional “kid” came for week 2. We fit super comfortably and the kitchen was great for cooking. We cooked a lot while there and it was fully stocked. Electric Peak was right out the kitchen window! So pretty. The hosts are so kind and very responsive - answering questions right away. That was nice for us being so far away from home.I can’t say enough nice things about our stay. It was perfect.

I chose this property location due to its close proximity to the North entrance and because it sits right on the Yellowstone River where I hoped to fish. Sadly, while June is a great time to visit the park, it's the worst time to fish the river because it runs extremely fast. So, while I was unable to fish, anyone who wishes to do so, when it is not running so fast, will find this home to be the ideal location for it.The house itself is absolutely wonderful. It is very comfortable, super-clean, and the kitchen has everything you would want. The TV has every streaming channel. It has a huge back yard adjacent to the river with an easy short path that takes you to the bank. We had two elk come right to our front door where they were chewing on a plant. While Lori, the owner, checked with us to make sure all was good, we had no issues come up.I cannot imagine a better vacation rental for your trip to Yellowstone Park than this one.

We loved our stay at Lori’s place! The home was clean and had everything we needed during our stay. The kitchen was well stocked! The setting, right on the Yellowstone River, with mountains in the background were so beautiful to wake up to and have coffee in the morning. We also had elk that walked right through the backyard while we were there! Even better was that it was a 5 minute drive to the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park. I would definitely recommend staying here. You will not regret it!
