Beautiful furnished 3rd floor 2 bedrooms 2 bath and full size kitchen w/ living space 1116 sqft located across the street from the Beach and next to the Pool. This condo sleeps 6-8, 2 bedrooms (plus queen bed couch and extra rolled mattress) and two baths, one with a tub and one with a step in shower. This is perfect for families, friends, or couples traveling together.
Enter this fantastic gated community to find soaring palm trees, vibrant and cheerful buildings, and a spa-like pool area. Located on the third floor of the building (no elevators), this home will offer you and your travel companions unparalleled views from the private balcony, and no noise from your neighbors above!
The fully equipped kitchen, which is open to the dining area and living room, offers granite countertops, beautiful wood cabinets. Equipped with all of the necessary cooking appliances, you’ll be able to prepare all of your favorite recipes while on vacation.
Both bedrooms with queen size beds (also included a playpen for baby, and rolled mattress foam) have very large walk in closets, large dressers, night stands, cable TV in living room with 150 complimentary HD channels and free high speed Wifi. The second full bathroom is directly across from the second bedroom and has a sparkling clean full bath tub with shower.
Pool towels, beach mats, a Mac folding wagon beach cart, are also available for our guests and are stored in the master bedroom closet. Guests can enjoy beautiful sunrises, sunsets and moonlit ocean views from the balcony.
Galveston Island hosts many activities, including but not limited to a wonderful beach, the Strand, Moody Gardens, golf courses, fishing, Schlitterbahn, Rain Forest Pyramid, Lone Star Flight Museum, Pleasure Pier, and so much more! Spend your days exploring different restaurants and shops, riding on thrilling roller coaster rides, or learning all about flights and aviation.
The Dawn condos are gated community with its private full fitness center, club house, located for a fully unobstructed view of the gulf. Two beautiful pools and two hot tubs are also available for all guests to enjoy. A charcoal grill and picnic table are also located adjacent to each pool.

The beach access to the property has just been expanded. The expansion is spectacular! And huge thanks to The Galveston Parks and Recreation committee, we now have a beautiful 200 meter wide soft sandy beach directly across from The Dawn!
We love coming down to Galveston with our kids and hope our condo will help provide a wonderful and memorable vacation for you as well!!

Awesome Time on the Island!

We very much enjoyed our stay here! The condo was spacious and perfect for our group! The view from the balcony was worth the 3rd story walk! The complex pools were easy to access, they were clean and refreshing! You walk right out the gate and across the road to the beach - if you wanted to - I personally prefer to look at the beach and not actually go onto the beach but that's just me! The proximity to the fishing pier was a win for us as well. Also convenience store and Walmart are right there so know need to travel far for anything you might need. The only warning I must give is please be prepared for the 3rd floor walk! You must walk from parking to the back of the complex up a small flight of stairs and then up to the 3rd floor to the complex. This is not for everyone so do not rent this unit if you have mobility issues! Also pack your items in a manner that will require less bags. If you are going to go grocery shopping bring or purchase reusable groceries bags so you have less items to carry up and back down the stairs. I can promise you that it's worth the walk but just be prepared for it before you rent the unit!

Great Location on the Seawall with Easy Parking and Close to the Pool!

We spent three nights here on a quick family getaway. The unit was clean and well laid out for a family of four. The parking lot is right next door and you can see your parked car from your window. Easy access to the pool. There is a parking fee that you must pay to the HOA so be aware of that. Seamless check in and out processs. Would come back agai!

Amazing Family Beach Vacation

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Galveston especially the beautiful beachside condo we stayed in at The Dawn Condominiums. Jasmine’s condo is amazing. It had everything we needed to make our vacation a truly memorable one. Jasmine was so gracious and accommodating. She communicated everything we needed to know to in a timely manner from check in to check out. It went so smooth and really let us not have to worry about anything but enjoying our vacation and spending time together. The property itself is beautiful. It’s well maintained and the location is perfect. We would definitely like to visit Galveston again. Thank you for a great time. The Martins

Great vacation

Property was much older than pictures make it look. Condo was not as clean as pictures make it look. Mold in master shower and window sills. Dust was absolutely every where. We found hair in the sheets and the shower. Floors were not clean, our socks were just covered in dust, dirt, and sand. I will add that the Condo was well stocked on most things. Plenty of large towels, only a couple of wash rags though. Kitchen was well equipt. Water pressure was great. The pools were very nice and never super crowded. We had a great vacation, just wish the condo would've been a cleaner. Also, we weren't aware of the fact that no elevator was available and carrying everything up 3 flights of steps was definitely a workout multiple times a day.

Great getaway

We enjoyed our stay here. The condo was great and had plenty of space for our family. Access to beach toys for our kiddos and a wagon was a plus. Easy to walk across the street to the beach. The street noise can be a bit loud, but we understood that was going to be a possibility going in. Jasmine was very responsive when we had questions and made us feel very welcomed!

Property had nice view of water. Boys liked the pool and hot tub. Our boys liked the Naval Museum and working out at the Texas A&M Galveston campus for $5 ea. Was nice that it was spring break and nobody was there.

Quick, 3 night, birthday getaway

We enjoyed the condo very much. Unfortunately the weather was cold except for the last day. But we had a great time. We enjoyed the view of the beach right from the balcony and first bedroom. The condo was clean, even the vents weren’t dusty or moldy looking. The condo was stocked nicely. We had no issues with noise or anything like that. The condo is very spacious and spread out. We’ve stayed at The Dawn before and had a great stay but the view was better with this condo. It is on third level with no elevator so that might be an issue for some. We would definitely stay here again. The owner had great communication.

We had and excellent time! Property was just as described EXCEPT the hot tub was broken and one pool wasn’t heated. But the other was, it had everything we needed, communicating with host was easy and we would definitely go back!

This is an awesome condo with amazing views. Has everything you need. Only downside for me personally is the memory foam mattresses (I prefer traditional spring mattresses). Nothing else negative to say, it was great!

Great spot for a mini vacation

Location was great, close to the beach and nearby eateries. Had a great balcony view so we could see how crowded the beach got before heading down. I wish the rooms had curtains though bc the street lamps were very bright and my little one had a hard time going to bed. Other than that, my family enjoyed our stay.

Galveston getaway

This is the third time we have stayed at one of the Dawn condo's. The Dawn is a nice, well maintained gated community that is great for families. We received our welcome email from VRBO a few days before leaving as usual, but had no info for the condo (gate codes, wifi, etc...). The owner said she would send it the day before our reservation. Had to contact her again at 9:30pm the night before leaving to get the info. Our two adult sons were coming with us (18 and 20) so I made sure to book a condo with two of everything, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and two TV's. The description said both bedrooms had TV's, but we arrived to find only one in the living room. I contacted the owner and was told the bedroom TV was broken and one was on order. If we had known this in advance we would have brought tablets for our son's to use (young men have different entertainment interests than us older folks). Other issues were no working ice maker and we found food and alcohol left in the refrigerator/freezer kind of off putting. On the plus side the condo was nicely decorated and fresh smelling. The location is great and the balcony view can't be beat. The beds were comfortable and we liked having a keurig coffee maker. We still had a great time and always enjoy a week in Galveston each summer.

Great condo with perfect access to the beach

We stay in Galveston every summer for a few days to let the kids enjoy the beach before school starts. This year we decided to splurge and get a condo right on the seawall. And I am so glad we did. The location is absolutely perfect. The beach is mere steps away, and the balcony of this condo faces the beach so it’s a lovely view in the mornings and evenings. We literally just walked across the street every day. The condos pool area has a sand shower to rinse off bevies returning to the unit which was nice. The only issue we encountered was the AC having a hard time keeping up in the late afternoon/early evening, but by late nights when the sun had gone down, it was able to keep up. Condo is extremely clean and well appointed with everything we needed. Walking distance to a gas station and the grocery store is two blocks down. Would 100% stay again. Host was attentive and promptly answered any messages we sent.

Lucky I chose this place!

I recommend staying here over any hotel in Galveston. The location is great. The property is too. A big plus is you get way more for your money than any of the hotels. I look forward to coming back.

Relaxing environment

The condo was lovely. This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Dawn complex and love its location. The only disappointment was the height of the chairs on the balcony. One of my favorite things to do is sit on the balcony and look out at the water, but due to the shortness of the chairs all I could see was the railing. I’m also not the tallest person in the world either. :) But the condo was very clean, well stocked, and very comfortable!
