A very restful cottage

This place was just right for us. The peekaboo views of the sound and Olympics is a bonus added to a tidy and comfortable cottage. It is close to everything that South Whidbey has to offer and comfortable enough to make you not care if you just hang out and rest.

Family get away

The cottage is just as advertised! It was a great home base for exploring Whidbey. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the deck was a relaxing place to hang out in the mornings and evenings. We’d love to come back!

Great house but


The house and location were wonderful and the management company (Tara) was the best I’ve ever dealt with. The one drawback was the beds, which were very uncomfortable and difficult to sleep on. I would recommend a 3” foam pad to make them more comfortable.

Delightful

This is the second time we have stayed in this house. The decor is very cute and colorful and there is so much light streaming in! The bed is SO comfortable! It is definitely older and does not have a dishwasher but it is thoroughly charming and super clean. Perfect location and very private and quiet.

Great Getaway

Great place to just relax and enjoy time on island. It was very clean and bright and we had no problems with checking in or out very easy. Beautiful view and sunsets. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect

This place is perfect for our needs, as we have family on Bush Point and it was close, but far enough. It is perfectly situated back from the road as well, and very private. We have stayed here twice now, and will likely do so again. It has everything we need to be comfortable. It's not fancy or swanky, but it is the perfect island getaway, and if you know Bush Point, you know it's a great location to explore Whidbey. Communication is easy and check-in/checkout is no problem. Highly recommend.

Good Location, Nice Deck

We enjoyed staying at this property. The deck was outstanding and the home is on a secluded lot. We enjoyed sitting on the deck whether we were reading or having dinner. The living room and bedrooms were nice and the windows offered cross-ventilation so we did not miss having AC. The bathroom and kitchen could use some scrubbing and a new coat of paint. The window screen in the bedroom had a large hole that had been patched with blue painter's tape. It was tacky but it did keep the bugs out. Tara Properties service was very good.

Lovely Cottage, Close to Beach Trails, and Langley

This cottage exceeded my expectations. It was bright and cheery, and just minutes from beach state park and trail access. The proximity to Langley and Island ferries –– including Coupeville/Port Townsend –– was an added surprise. After having battled beach crowds on the Oregon coast what I most appreciate was the privacy and quiet of the cottage's comfortable. (And, finally, as a professor, a qreat and unexpected selection of books!) Will book longer stay next year!

Nice cottage with very private feel

This house is in a quite populated neighborhood, many people seem to live there, but the lot is quite big and positioned so nicely you don't ever feel that. Nice view, with an occasional deer on the grass to make your breakfast ambience even more pleasant. The only reason I gave 4 stars for location is I wish it was closer to the beach or you don't need to walk along the road to get there, but well, it's all in the description, so no surprise there. The house/furniture is a bit old but very clean and in nice condition. We enjoyed our stay even over the rainy long weekend.

Nice place

The cottage was fine. It was clean, had nice views and was located in a quite neighborhood. The kitchen was well equipped and the living spaces were comfortable and cozy. There was plenty of hot water and bathrooms were clean.. The bedding could use an update, blankets and sheets have seen better days. There was plenty of room for our dog to romp around the yard. The management did a good job with communication before our visit.

Very nice property, rural yet convenient

This was a very comfortable property just right for us in our two dogs! Very comfortable beds and just about anything you ever need. There was an over abundance of cookware, dishes, etc which limits space to store food, etc that we brought. Pretty much had everything you could ever want and a wonderful library of books. Good Internet connection

The home and property were one of the best VRBO spaces I’ve stayed in. I thank the owners for so carefully arranging their cottage. I feel like I was staying at a relatives space because it was so sweet and charming.

Relaxing girls quilting retreat

very nice, quiet and cute cottage. Everything we needed was there including flashlights. Parking was clean and ample. Cottage was decorated so cute in it's beachy cottage style and was comfortable and relaxing. We had a great time!!!!

Wonderful location

This home is half way between Langley and Coupeville, a perfect location to see all the best of Whidbey Island. Beautiful sunset views from the back deck. Couldn't ask for a better location on the Island.

Cute house on Whidbey - close to beaches!

4 of us had a great stay! The patio is great for relaxing in the afternoon sun and lots of options of things to do close by. My only suggestion would be that it’s probably due for a little facelift inside. Updates to the kitchen & main bathroom specifically.

Relaxation in Paradise

It reminded me of a painting by Thomas Kinkade called "Evening Majesty" very peaceful, quiet, relaxing and good for the mind and soul. A place everyone should visit at least once or twice maybe even more than that in their life. Also very welcoming. Thank You!!!
