'The apartment is, as advertised, a very attractive basement apartment. Be prepared for some challenges getting in and out through the garage door, but other than that, I had no real complaints about the cleanliness or amenities of the apartment. One other possible word of warning - the soundproofing leaves a bit to be desired, so you will hear a lot of noise when people upstairs are walking, but that's a decent tradeoff considering the amenities and price of the rental overall.'

'Easy check-in, fast response time for communicating with the host and many amenities including TV and couch in cozy living room, pots and pans, a microwave, a stove and oven in the kitchen, dining room with table and chairs. The only thing was that the bathroom shower head was low because of the low hanging ceiling. Thanks for hosting us!'

'Was in town for a few days - and this was an excellent base of operations. Easy walking distance to downtown for dining out and shopping - and good location to access the trail along the river.'

'We stayed four nights during a mini-heat wave. The heat pump was a blessing. The place is nicely furnished and equipped, sparkling clean and on a quiet street on the edge of downtown. Pretty much anything you want from groceries to wine to downtown sites is within a 10 minute walk. We would recommend the hosts spring for a cork screw. There are many comments about the couch in the guest book...we concur it needs to be replaced, it is like sitting on the floor and a bit of a work out to get up...
