'We arrived a little early to this magnificent property. We were welcomed in to the beautiful sitting room to wait for our room to be ready. Such lovely helpful staff, and so friendly and welcoming. The room was amazing, and we also spent time in the sitting room in the evening, playing cards with the fire kindly lit for our benefit. This is a little piece of the history, well worth a stay to experience it.'

'22 The Square was a good surprise. We didn’t expect it to be that good based on the pictures. I think they are outdated because we were in room 9 and it looks way more modern than on the pictures. We were two friends travelling and ended up with 3 beds in our private room, which was quite a luxury. 'We had a very nice and helpfull check-in. The receptionist was super friendly and humoristic. I think her name is Stephanie. The diner was great, they give stagiaires a chance to learn and explore.'

'The hotel is centrally located in the city of Derry with large clean modern rooms. The bar is essentially the pub next door, which is quite busy. There aren't any real hotel amenities eg lobby or gym, so i did find it tricky without room servi e late at night. Nonetheless in normal hours it is great and comfortable place to stay.'

'Good and not so good. Great central location for touring Derry with good food & local trad music in nearby pubs. Price is reasonable. We were a party of 4 adults and had 2 ‘deluxe’ twin rooms with shared kitchen. Kitchen was well equipped for continental breakfast. Both bathrooms are updated. Lots of hot water.
