First, I want to say the condo itself is beautiful, large, well designed, everything worked! The pools are nice at waterscape. Elevator directly outside of this unit is convenient. The only downfall to this unit is the loud AC units from the hotel next door that run 24/7. Hard to enjoy the view because they are so loud.
Sadly we will NEVER rent here again because of the poor management of Vacasa. We are extremely low maintenance people and I had read reviews about how awful they are and thought we typically keep our interactions with management limited so we wouldn’t have any issues. The day of check in we arrived very early and were told to hang around the pool and beach because we would probably get to go in our unit early...kept calling all day and they kept saying our unit is not ready, we called again at 3:05, check in is at 4, then we were told that they don’t let people check in early due to COVID which was completely different than what we had been told all day. So we can hang out at the pool but can’t check in to our empty room? After that we walked in the front office because it was ridiculous with the different responses, we were then told cleaners had not even been to our unit yet. I thought surely they had started it’s only 45 minutes until check in. Who knows? Within 30 minutes of going into the unit I picked boogers off the couch, found a sock behind the couch pillow, my child found a baby bottle under couch, dried cheese under the ottoman and hair all over the shower and blow dryer. Cleaning was AWFUL! I specifically chose this unit because of cleanliness, very surprised to see it like this.
I left my swimsuit in the hotel room and called within hours of checking out. I knew exactly where I left it behind the master bathroom door and could not get anyone to help me. I asked repeatedly if someone could look or knock because someone was in the unit but no help. It’s 2 weeks later and after calling everyday, talking to 6 different people, filling out a request form online, talking to Vacasa headquarters I finally got ahold of someone in the office who told me they didn’t find it. I honestly don’t even believe they looked. If I am going to give a company my money I expect great customer service in exchange. It’s little things like knocking on a door that sets a company apart from others.
I hope the owners of this nice condo look into other management options if available.
