We have been to Waterscapes for mutiple years and the property never disappoints.Great view. Wonderful amenities for all ages. Daily activities. Beautiful property.This condo was perfect for our family of four and it had everything we needed. The host was quick to answer all questions prior to our arrival and made things seamless.

Love the Waterscape

We have been to the Waterscape several times now, but this was the first time with just the four of us. Our room was perfect for two parents and a couple of kids. Would gladly stay in this condo again.

Beautiful property, condo could use work

Love the property, amenities, safety, overall look & feel of property. Pros of the condo-like the decor, the size of it, good use of the space for the most part, open concept, king size bed in master room, other options for sleeping, washer & dryer were good, having the basic kitchen needs & TV's. Cons of the condo--floors were filthy. We bought a swiffer wet jet at Target, we mopped the floors ourselves. Emailed manager, he replied the cleaners came in and redid the floors. A bottle of pinesol was left on the counter. Walking in, the scent of pinesol wasn't in the air. Floors were not vacuumed & mopped under furniture. Refrigerator needs to be deep cleaned, kitchen cabinet is missing a decorative knob, pantry door is broken, couch is uncomfortable & warn out, dining table only had 4 chairs, mattress for master & bottom bunk bed are uncomfortable. Master room-knobs are missing on dressers, shower curtain is grose & needs to be replaced, shower drain does not drain very well, trash cans in both bathrooms are too small & need to be replaced. Toilets are a waste of money, b/c of plug in toilet I only had 1 plug I could use. Suggestion-put a vanity with counter space instead of the small pedestal sink with a type of night stand next to it. Need to clean the matress covers or replace it frequently. Master room cover had hair & other noticeable particles in it. You need to pay more attention to the details & the little things that add up. Definitely be back, not sure in this condo.

Great place for a couple or small family

We stayed at this rental for 4 nights and enjoyed it! Great for a couple or couple with 2 young kids. The 2 bunks are built in the living room. One really nice feature of this condo is the 2 fancy bidet toilets! Quite the experience if you’ve never tried it! Waterscape resort is built so most all of the rooms have a view of the ocean. The pools are very large and mostly setup for kids to have fun. We are beach people, so we enjoyed the beach service chairs (included with this rental through the end of October). Another great feature of this resort is the close walking distance to several restaurants. We did not have a car and didn’t really need one with the close proximity of several restaurant options. The communication with the rental company was also top notch! Very impressed! Would definitely stay again, however need some new pillows and potentially a new mattress in the bedroom. Our lower backs were sore by the end of the week., but we enjoyed our stay!

Great family fun

This room and resort were perfect for our small family. The balcony view was nice. It is very updated and clean. The large bunk beds were great for our son. The kitchen was perfect and well stocked with any supplies we needed. The facilities are awesome for family fun. The beach wasn’t as nice as down the road in Destin. It is very slanted and loaded with seaweed, but it was nice having the beach service available. My only wish for the rooms would be a table and chairs on the balcony for eating outside and a bathtub in one of the bathrooms for bathing young children. The owner was easy to work with and sent messages with information and checking on us. We had a wonderful time!

Property Pro’s and Con’s

Property Pro’s: Location to convention center, beach, dinning & pier. Facility amenities to include pool area, beach chairs with umbrella, bidets in bathrooms. Excellent communication throughout booking to checkout. Property Con’s: Room was 90 degrees when we arrived and it took about an hour to get the temp down enough that we could get ready for an event we had to be at an hour and 1/2 after 4:00 check-in. Mattress on main bed was extremely uncomfortable!!! My husband and I ended up sleeping separately in the bunk beds &/or couch because they were slightly more bearable.

Terrible host

Such a nice place, but hugely disappointed. The host failed to communicate that we’d be without running water(no showers or toilets). We had no running water for almost 24 hours. I get it that things happen and the water issue wasn’t his fault but he really dropped the ball on this one. He did tell me he’d received an email stating there was an issue in the building but failed to relay that important info to us prior to us arriving. We had to walk to lobby to find out what was happening. Also there was mention from host of compensation(a gift card) but have yet to see it or hear back from him. I’d chalk it up as a loss. In short, nice place, but the host needs work. He’s clearly new to the game and doesn’t know how to treat people. We’ll see if I ever get a response from him again. The resort itself is very nice and offers a lot, but there are plenty of other hosts to book with. I’d be weary of this guy…

Awesome condo in a wonderful complex!

The condo was exceptional! Very clean and up to date! The toilets were amazing. Lol. Oh but they were. Haha. We have stayed in many condos and this was one of our favorites! The complex is loaded with things to do. And this condo has a great location in the complex. The view is great of the whole facility and even an ocean view too. Beautiful!
