Welcome to the Islander 119 on Holiday Isle in Destin Florida

Islander Condo #119 is our unique Platinum rated Cottage that sleeps up to 6 people. Avoid the main building with this private cottage set among tropical flowers. Enjoy the privacy and convenience of having your own four walls surrounded by lush landscaping with a patio and small fenced yard just steps from the pools and Destin’s world class beach.
This beachy cottage, updated in 2024, boasts an open concept kitchen/living/dining room with wood look tile throughout and all the comforts of home. The kitchen has all new stainless-steel appliances, sink with pullout spray faucet and push button disposal, open shelving for easy access to dishes and a pantry to store your food supplies. Dining room table seats 6 comfortably and you can relax in the living room with a 55” Smart TV, leather recliners & queen size sleeper sofa.
The primary bedroom has a king size bed, new ceiling fan and a 42” Smart TV. The primary bathroom has a double sink vanity with granite countertop and a walk-in shower. The guest bedroom has a king bed, new ceiling fan and a 32” TV. The guest bathroom has a single sink vanity with granite countertop and a tub/shower combo.

The pool and Destin’s beach are conveniently located outside your 1st floor walk-out patio.

Just Right!

We truly enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect and just right for our family of 6! The kids enjoyed the short walk to the beach as well as access to the pools! Extremely close to stores, restaurants, and overall a great experience! I would give more stars if I could!

Great property right by the beach!

Plenty of room to spread out. Other reviews don’t properly state how short of a walk it is to the pool and the beach. Kitchen has plenty of dishes and cooking instruments but no niceties like salt and pepper or coffee filters so be sure to pack those!

Awesome Cottage!!

This was the perfect cottage for our Destin stay. The location was perfect and just a few hundred yards from the beach. The best thing about the cottage was that you didn’t have to worry about elevators or stairs, there were no neighbors, you could park right outside your front door, and you had the convenience of a condo type property but was in a house! We would definitely recommend and we will be staying here again in the future.

5 stars!! Would definitely stay at this property again. Plenty of space for a family. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. A short walk to the beach was perfect!! The pool was heated and clean. We loved this rental.

Cottage stay!

Overall wonderful experience. Our cards all got turned off the day before we were supposed to leave so we got locked out coming back from the beach but easy fix at the office. Gave 4 stars for cleanliness due to the face we found a really big bug and it grossed us out. However overall we loved our visit. Walk to the beach and pool were short and easy especially with two babies and the staff were all very nice and helpful with anything we needed!

The location is perfect! The pullout couch is not ideal-definitely an older model. The tennis courts at the resort are currently unavailable. Bryson, the beach attendant, was friendly and helpful. Overall, would recommend and would stay again.

Great location and property.

This is located on the Islander Resort property. The unit was very nice and accommodated our family of 4 easily. It is a short (maybe 5 minutes if you're taking your time) to the beach! Once you're on the beach you have two chairs and an umbrella waiting for you and if they are all taken your beach attendant will set another set for you. We paid extra on the days we spent at the beach to have a second set so that all of us had a chair and umbrella to enjoy! You are close to everything, a short drive gets you to all the great places to eat and see. We ran into several people that told us they come back to this resort year after year. I recommend bringing extra paper towels and trash bags (toilet paper too, we had enough but I'm not sure if they always have extras). The front desk staff is super nice and helpful. You can get charcoal and ice from the front desk which saves you a trip to the Target up the road. The master bedroom has a weird slant, kinda throws you off a bit but you get used to it. The toaster in the unit started throwing sparks like it was the 4th of July so we picked up a new one from Target and left it there when we left (you're welcome whoever rents behind us lol). The one thing that would be great is if they made it so you can lock the sliding glass door from the outside, that way you can go right out the back door and cut your walk to the beach even shorter! We will definitely be coming back, this exceeded our expectations!
