Disappointing Hygiene Standards at Marriott Hotel
I recently stayed at the Marriott Fort Lauderdale Airport Hotel and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience with the cleanliness of the bed linens. Despite my expectations of a well-maintained environment, I discovered that the bed linens were soiled with human excretions. Also, the towels provided were dirty and unclean as well. This lack of attention to hygiene was profoundly concerning and impacted my overall perception of the hotel's standards.
I thought about bringing this issue to the staff's attention, but this condition was not something I wanted to undertake for a one-night stay. My wife and I flew into Fort Lauderdale from Seattle, WA, non-stop, and this already had a 12-hour day. Our departure from the hotel was early because we had an 11:00 check-in time for our Celebrity Cruise. I will write to the executives of Marriott to provide my video and photo evidence. This condition left a lasting impression. Maintaining a clean and sanitary environment is crucial for a comfortable stay, and I hope the Marriott takes this feedback seriously to improve their hygiene protocols.
