Thanks, Mary for stating the suite was clean and cute and our beach is "BEAUTIFUL!" Dogs ARE ALLOWED to go swimming off our shoreline in beautiful blue Lake Huron. The suite IS stocked with utensils and plasticware located in the drawer of the kitchenette. "Essentially like camping" OUTSIDE and staying INSIDE the LAKE HOUSE SUITE is quite different with a cozy living room, comfortable master bedroom, quaint master bath and more. Parking instructions were given in your Welcome letter but, I am glad there was someone to help. A quick text to me would of resolved all of these issues but, I can't do anything afterwards except share my input. I am here to help and you had my number. Liked "Very Cute, easy to find and beach was nice." The Lake House Suite has all the amenities listed along with 160 feet of beach on Lake Huron and an acre of green space. The information about other guests in the home/suite side was stated in the description and again in the additional information section with pictures. Frankly, nothing is left unsaid. These issues you have, I am sorry could of been avoided if you would of read the information on site in April. Giving you plenty of time to investigate our piece of paradise on the VRBO with at least 30 days + prior to cancel with full refund. Then, you did not communicate any of your concerns until check out day through VRBO. Overall, these misunderstandings about other guests seems like a TOTAL oversight on your part. Take Care! - Diana

Location! Location! Location! A private place with 160' of beach on beautiful BLUE LAKE HURON is what we provide and I am so thankful Ron you mentioned it in your nice review. It is just one of the vacation/working perks provided along with restaurants, other beaches, tavern and Lakeport Market are all within walking distance or a minute away. Angela, thank you for your review. I am glad to read you were 'Cozy on the Lake" and the house suite was "perfect for you and your husband and you enjoyed your stay and the beautiful lake". The suite is exactly like pictured with a mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot and toaster along with sitting area for two at the kitchenette in an adequate living room space. It is quaint and comfortable for two guests providing a private entrance, bedroom and bath. For four, the comfy pull out sofa works perfectly. The house suite is priced more economically for those who are willing to give up some major essentials like a full kitchen. Even though, the suite works well for a more intimate setting our 160 feet of privately owned beach on Lake Huron as the home sits on almost an acre of land hopefully makes up for any extra green or blue space needed. If your interested in more home area, the other side sleeps up to 7 guests with identification number 2509164. Please, come again and enjoy your "HomeAway". Thanks, Diana

Therese, thank you for all the really GREAT compliments! Our almost an acre of "green space" does provide lots of open space full of natural environment while reducing noise with soothing shade. Along with the wavy water feature Lake Huron offers and beautiful BEACH makes this place perfect for everyone!
