'This is a lovely old country pub with nice log fires, the rooms are nice clean and warm, they are dog friendly so as a dog owner it’s all you could ask for, after fabulous food you can go and walk it off in the forest, the staff are all nice and friendly, they are very attentive but not overbearing which is fabulous, it is great watching the donkeys walked passed at breakfast, would highly recommend and will be going back again soon '

'Very comfortable bed, lovely room, bit cold due to old building, got hot with heating but easy to adjust heaters if needed. Natrow and steep stairs so need to be capable for this with big bags, was fine for us but tight. So easy to walk and hike straight from the hotel.'

'The rooms are set within the working family farm and made for a wonderful stay. I could have watched the goats and cows all day long. The room and bathroom were immaculate, our host was most friendly and the breakfast homemade with local produce. We had a brilliant time. Maar ook veel vragen rond een kamer van €200/nacht: - het bad is veel te smal om veilig een douche in te nemen. Met normale schoenmaat 10 kan je amper draaien en het bad was zeer "slippy". 1 kleine douchekop maar. Badkamer is very basic voor deze prijs. - de ramen konden niet geopend worden.
