Nestled between a wooded embankment full of wildflowers and the singing waters of Shoals Creek is a tranquil setting for relaxations, fishing and connecting with the nature of Wilson Lake
Drop your cares while you enjoy picturesque sunsets from the stately double porches. Observe the graceful orchestration of the assorted waterfowl, or just perch on the pier and dive into a great book!
If activity is your calling, try swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking. A John boat is available for traversing the lake. Contact owner for motorized watercraft rental.
Hike the nearby Forever Wild nature preserve and recreation are or take the 45 minute drive to Dismals Canyon to enjoy hiking and playing in enchanted nature.
When you desire civilization, drive just 10 minutes to Florence, northern Alabama’s hottest get-away for fine dining, entertainment or capture the perfect photo opps at Flo, AL’s sanctioned Graffiti Alley.
Music buffs will want to see where the artist like the Beatles, Stones, Aretha Franklin and more recorded with a tour to Muscle Shoals’ recording studios. We are also the birthplace of Southern Rock and the infamous singing waters. We recommend you watch the documentary.
If you enjoy a round or two of golf you are sure to enjoy the Robert Trent Jones golf course in in Muscle Shoals.

Was a good stay for our 3 families and is compatible with my elderly father with having plenty of handrails to facilitate his ambulation around the property. Had every amenity labeled and available.

Ladies Weekend
We had 7 ladies in our group. This is our second time staying at the house. We love it!!! The house is clean, comfortable, had all the utensils we needed to cook meals and most of all, a beautiful lake view and a great back porch. We are planning on returning again next year.

Beautiful, large home with great water view
Beautiful view of the Shoals Creek inlet to the TN river. Yes, it's called a creek, but it's 1/4-mile wide at this location, and the house has a clear view across with upstairs & downstairs decks...great for morning coffee. The home was very well equipped with everything we could ask for.

Family together at Thanksgiving
We used Shoals Creek Retreat as a central location so our family could be together for Thanksgiving. The place was just what we needed. It is very comfortable, with a relaxing view and atmosphere. We look forward to going back in warmer weather so we can enjoy the water activities.

Friends gathered at the lake
The house was exceptional. It was perfect for 6 friends to gather to fish and watch football. The house was complete with everything we needed and located and tagged for all to find . The most complete house we have ever rented . The fishing dock was also complete with everything one would need to fish . My group caught a 20 lbs catfish , bass and bream from the dock . Tony has done a great job to make this house a wonderful place to stay . I would recommend it to anyone. .

Ladies Weekend
We had a total of 6 women for the weekend. The property was perfect for our gathering! Everything was clean and plenty of good quality towels. There was lots of seating inside and out and we loved the back porch swing bed. We used the kayaks and stand up paddleboard and enjoyed sun and shade on the dock. The sunset from the second floor deck was beautiful. Great property!
