Excellent and safe stay
Lovely boutique hotel with excellent & engaged staff. The hotel is very diligent about taking the right COVID-19 precautions. Felt safe at every moment. Spa is very comfortable and worth visiting.

Heel aangenaam hotel. Een verborgen parel in een niet zo mooie buurt maar wel vlakbij het historische centrum. Mooie tuin en wellness en perfect ontbijt. Een aanrader!

Easy transfer from airport; easy walking distance from attractions, restaurants & shopping areas. Also enjoyed the spa after a long days wandering. The garden was lovely & quiet after a busy, bustling day wandering the City.

I loved the rooms at this hotel as well as how accommodating the staff were. I felt line this hotel gave us a perfect balance of the modern feel mixed with the Italian feel. I also loved the location and being able to walk to restaurants and some nightlife. My only gripe with the hotel was that the breakfast was always cold no matter how early I went down. Maybe that’s the way Italians eat their breakfast but I wasn’t a fan of that. And lastly we paid for spa access and we did get that but access to a masseuse for two people seem a little limited during our short 4 day stay.

新婚旅行で2泊しました。 施設は総合的にどれも素敵でした。 部屋、食事場所、庭園、ロビーなど、 どこも綺麗でした。 (スパは利用しませんでしたが結構使っている方がいて、良い感じでしたね！) 駅からホテルへ向かう道は歩道がかなり狭く、人通りが多く、ガタガタな道なので、スーツケースを持って移動するのはかなり大変でした。 フロントのスタッフの方へチケット購入の相談をさせていただいたところ、ネットと直接電話で調べてくださり、丁寧に英語でわかりやすく教えてくださってとても感謝しています。 食事処のスタッフさんたちもとても明るく接してくださいました。 朝食は甘いお菓子やパンがおいしかったです！ テラスも使えるので最高です。 部屋の広場はちょうど良い。 スーツケースを2つ広げると少し狭くなるけど許容範囲内です。 トイレやお風呂への扉が透明で丸見えなのが少し不便でした。 部屋からの景色はドゥオモが見えて最高です。 イタリア旅行の中で一番良いホテルでした！ ありがとうございました！

Excellent location. Lovely spa...need to book in advance. Shame it doesnt open in the morning. Fabulous breakfast with great selection. We also had afternoon tea included. Staff very polite helpful and accommodating. Room was a little on the small side for a superior room. Great location can walk to all attractions. Recommend this hotel.

My second time staying at this lovely boutique hotel. About 10 min walk from train station & easily walkable to other popular landmarks as well. The courtyard in the back is a hidden gym. Recommend!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable accommodations. Fitness center and pool are small and require reservations, but they were easy to get and is just a small quibble. Location is great for Florence sites.

Perfect location for easy walking access around the city. The garden is an oasis from all of the bustle. So quiet and relaxing. Hotel staff were all great, helpful, polite and welcoming. Great facilities, very comfortable room, and the spa was a perfect addition for relaxing in for a few hours.

Staff was very friendly and lovely. Room was much smaller than it appeared in photos. There was mildew in the shower which was off putting. Room also smelled like smoke, and air conditioning turned off when key card wasn’t inserted, so upon arrival the smell was very strong. Not an awful experience, but don’t think I would go again.

We had an amazing time. 7 glorious days. When we checked in, it was in the middle of a heat wave. The air-conditioning in one of the rooms was struggling and sounded like a muted car alarm, but the staff were amazing and moved our daughter to a temporary room for one night and then a permanent room for the remainder of our stay. That was the only blip and it was fixed instantly. Perfect The staff were amazing. So friendly. They helped us with our Italian. The location was perfect. The garden and spa were great. The breakfast was also next level and a perfect start to the day. By the end of our stay the staff knew our coffee orders. Thank you! Even though we have now done most of the sites in Florence we will probably go again because of the hotel.

Great location. Everything is within walking distance. Location is a 7 min walk to the train station. Close to all tourist attractions yet in a quiet location. The half board for those that were like me includes both breakfast and dinner. At dinner you can also ask for the lunch menu is you want a simpler option. The service was fantastic. The room was clean. Highly recommend!! And a huge shout out to Camilla the night server who is absolutely amazing.

Perfect place to stay!
Booked this place as I wanted to be close to all the major sites. Hotel was clean and offered a wonderful breakfast each morning. Staff was super friendly and helpful! They had a wonderful area in the back with a pool and lounging ito relax after a day of activities.

We stayed at the Palazzo Castri 1874 for 4 nights in May 2023. Easy walk from Santa Maria Novella train station. Nice view of the Duomo from our room. Really good included breakfast every morning. Spa looked fantastic, although we didn't have a chance to use it. Pretty good location. Clean rooms.
