Een oase van rust op wandelafstand van het mooie centrum van Firenze. Zeer nette en gezellige, kwaliteitsvolle kamers. Heel verzorgd ontbijt en leuke bar. Een overvloed van goede restaurants in de directe omgeving. Prijs-kwaliteit de beste keuze!

Fantastic hotel....and fantastic service.
This hotel is really great....the rooms are fantastic, beautiful design and garden area. Very close to Florence centre within walking distance. Room with a view to the garden is really fabulous, breakfast was really good. Service is fantastic. I would definitely book this hotel again when I return to Florence.

In oud klooster convent heerlijk rustig comfortabel nieuw hotel met prima basale faciliteiten, uitstekende comfortabele kamers fijne bedden, mooie badkamer en goed ontbijt. Geen restaurant of zwembad maar wel heerlijke tuin en rust. Heel fijn behulpzaam personeel. Alles op loopafstand maar buiten toeristische drukte. Restaurantjes en winkels om de hoek. Super locatie.

This is a beautiful property not too close or too far from the touristy section of Florence and very walkable. The restaurant suggestions by the staff were incredible. Shower can be a bit slippery though. Beautiful property and grounds. Amazing breakfast served in the morning. The bar staff, Adam, was fun and friendly. Would return for sure.

Hotel Horto Convento was located in a nice quiet area but close enough to the centre to easily access all the main sites and had a good choice of restaurants within 5-10 minutes walk. The staff were extremely polite, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and rooms light and airy.

Great property and location. Even greater service and customer experience. Felt like we were in on a secret with this location and hotel that was walkable distance to the main attractions (max 20 min walk) while being close to some amazing food. Family loved it and we will be coming back again. Tutto Benne.

Giovanni at the front desk was a wealth of knowledge! He helped us with parking (that part is a bit difficult, but it’s Florence so that comes with the territory) He helped us with local food places to eat and even to help us find a local laundromat. He was very communicative! The place was clean and had everything we needed.

We LOVED Hotel Horto Convento! It’s a beautiful hotel with attentive staff, a phenomenal breakfast, and a lovely courtyard for relaxing outside. Each night when we arrived back at the property after having dinner, we felt like we were staying at our own private Italian villa…it was magical.

The average temperatures in Florence throughout your visit ranged between 7 and 14 degrees Celsius. Our hotel has been operational for many years, hosting thousands of guests during the same period as your stay, and we have not received any similar complaints. The stay in Hotel Horto Convento was delightful. The room was spacious, clean and airy. The staff were extremely helpful and gave great suggestions for restaurants. The breakfast was also great. We stayed for 8 days.

So nice to be located 20 mins or so walk away from the hordes of tourists in the historic centre, and yet still feel very much in the most beautiful part of the city. The neighbourhood is very cool, with some lovely restaurants and bars on Borgo San Frediano just five minutes' walk away. The hotel itself is tucked away from the road, connected to an adjoining functioning convent, and is very peaceful, with beautiful grounds. Staff are very friendly (thanks in Dan the barman, and for Giovanni for really making us laugh). The bar area is divine, we went every evening at 7pm for cocktails before dinner. The breakfast is fantastic, hot and cold food and even some prosecco to get he day started right, with very efficient staff on hand. Rooms very comfortable, very dark so great for sleeping.

With the hustle and bustle from a great deal of tourism, it was so very nice to return back to the hotel at the end of the day. The second you walk through the gates to the facility, it's like being transported to a quiet country home. Love this place and wouldn't stay anywhere else!
