The house is located in the charming Oltrarno/San Frediano neighborhood of the historic center. It is a comfortable 15-minute walk from the Santa Maria Novella central station and major landmarks such as the Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti, Palazzo Vecchio, and the Uffizi.
Public transportation stops just 30 meters from the apartment, providing access to the historic center, Piazzale Michelangelo, the train station, and beyond—including the Chianti countryside and its extraordinary views.
The apartment is located on the second floor (no elevator) of a small apartment building on a very quiet side street. It is very bright and spacious, consisting of: two large double bedrooms, where a single bed can also be added; a living room with a large double sofa bed, a kitchen-diner (equipped with dishes, an oven, and a dishwasher), a bathroom with a shower, and two spacious balconies—one of which is covered—overlooking the gardens and the access road to the house, respectively.
The house is equipped with all the amenities needed for a pleasant vacation: independent heating, ceiling fans, Smart TV, free Wi-Fi, a hair dryer, bed and bath linens, blankets, and personal and household cleaning supplies.
The area offers restaurants serving traditional Florentine/Tuscan cuisine, fast-food joints, small supermarkets within walking distance, a pharmacy, and a coin-operated laundromat.
