'The hotel has a good location in Pemberton. The desk service gave us good information. After we questioned she told us about places where you can see kangaroos in the wild. As Europeans, we were interested. The attached restaurant is probely the best in Pemberton, but in our view very moderate. The service is not very professional and the quality in relation to the price not very high. But we had a good experience in the appartement.'

'Perfect little sanctuary! I miss the trees and lake, so much. Have stayed in a number of different chalets or glamping tents or even Bibbulmun huts, while hiking this exceptional area and the Silkwood chalet was a perfect combination of luxury and nature. 'loved our stay. first time farm stay (other than one i've worked on haha). loved the safari style accommodation and luxury type touches. enjoyed the fact that its also a working truffle farm, so did not mind at all that there was a buzz of activity in the distance. really added to the atmosphere.
