Heerlijk verblijf en een mooie uitdagende golfbaan
Tamarina Golf Resort is een goed verblijf. Zeker als je een golfliefhebber bent. Je eordt met een eigen shuttle naar het golfterrein gebracht en ook weer opgehaald. Het buffet is goed. De kamers zijn ook goed, zeker degene met een Seaview. Verl verschillende zwembaden.

Wij hebben genoten van strand en nabijgelegen vissersdorpje, waar we vaak ook 's avonds gingen eten. Rust, natuur en geen last van toeristen. Voor mensen die veel vertier zoeken is deze locatie minder geschikt. Personeel was buitengewoon vriendelijk. Zeer kindvriendelijk, maar zo ingericht dat als je zonder kinderen komt, je echt geen last hebt van overal kinderen in de buurt.

Really tasty food & great service from the staff but it’s really a 3 star hotel in terms amenities & the rooms really could do with an update. Mattress & pillows were also hard so found it hard to sleep.

Great five day stay
Delightful five day stay on a business trip. Rental car was useful as the hotel is fairly remote and there is lots to do nearby. Free green fees at the Tamarina golf course were fantastic, i loved the course. Deluxe beachfront room was very nice, although the mosquitos were annoying on the balcony. Room was clean and service was excellent.

Golf vacation
Me and my boyfriend stayed for 10 nights at Tamarina, and we had the most wonderful time! Our main purpose of the trip was to play golf and relax, and Tamarina was the perfect place for just that! The golf course was long with beautiful surroundings. We had some warm days, but the marshals came out with ice tea and wet towels. After 18 holes we could relax at the wonderful golf restaurant with lovely staff and good salads. The golf club even kept our bags during the stay so that we did not have to bring it back to the hotel with the shuttle. One extra plus was that the all inclusive package covered the golf restaurant as well. The hotel restaurant served breakfast with an ocean view, and got us gluten free bread every morning. In the evening we stopped by the bar before having dinner. The staff in the restaurant and bar were so wonderful and friendly! They made sure that we had a good time during the evening. They even prepared special meals and special cocktails for us during some evenings. The hotel room was ok, with a large balcony. The WIFI was however not very strong. Overall our stay was wonderful and If we could we would go back!

El personal del hotel es muy agradable y te hace disfrutar de las vacaciones en todo momento. El servicio de habitaciones es un poco descuidado. No nos cambiaron los jabones en las 9 noches e incluso depués de pedir no nos dieron más.

Stay at Tamrina
The hotel is located on west cost, there are multiple pools in the property and couple are facing the sea. The setup is very neat and clean. Rooms are little small but very comfortable. Only few rooms are facing the sea, we got one which was facing the pool and garden. The check-in was very quick; Girish took care of it. Only sad part was an incident, where we took couple umbrellas from reception, left them at the restaurant and when we returned to take pick them up, they were gone and we were charged for them.

Front desk and restaurant service was excellent. Bathroom toiletries should be refreshed daily. Had to leave at 6am to catch a flight and they offered me some cold fare though there was no room service. Would love to revisit. Excellent value.

Not so good, fridge was broken in room and leaked on the floor constantly, WiFi was terrible, bed was so uncomfortable that I had back ache each day, no hot water in bathroom... only mildly luke warm at best, took almost an hour to get ice to the room after repetitive requests, and it seems that from being a leading resort, that over time complacencies have crept in and no updating or improvements to the facilities have been priority for the hotel.

You have been warned
We did not enjoy our stay at this hotel. The reasons being as follows. Algae on the bottom of pool. Noisy A/C and fan in bedroom. Cockroaches in bedroom. Ants and birds feeding on buffet . On a positive note nandini front of house did all she could do to try to improve our experience. Moved to a slightly better room and bottle of wine.

Das Personal ist hinsichtlich des Services ziemlich ungeschult. Beim Essen wussten sie nicht wann man einen Teller abserviert. Oft mussten wir lange warten um etwas zum trinken zu bekommen bzw um etwas zum trinken bestellen zu können. Einzelne Personen haben sich aber sehr bemüht. Das Essen war nicht sehr abwechslungsreich und auch nicht sehr gut. In zwei Wochen haben wir immer nur ein und den selben Fisch beim Buffet bekommen. Beim Checkin haben wir, da wir in der Früh angekommen sind, bis 14 Uhr auf unser Zimmer warten müssen, obwohl man uns früher eines zugesagt hatte. Als Entschädigung haben wir dann eine 1/2 Stunde Massage gratis bekommen.

Staff with genuine ownership and pride
Have spent the last 8 months on island. Visit resorts on weekends, really taken aback with level of caring and responsibility of staff- from Esthelle at checkin, waiters, cleaning staff, and manager Veer. Superb hospitality. Large room. Could only reserve one night- very easy place (and great value) to stay for many nights. We left after a wonderful, unhurried night—-wanting much more!

Whilst the location and facilities is great, being remote, the hotel needs to look into the inflexible rules for meals. Set dinners and buffets is not everyone's choice. It could do with a coffee shop where customers can have simple meals, burgers etc., if they so desire. There should at least be complimentary water in the rooms. Good for customers who are on full board I suppose.

Hotel médiocre loin du 4* annoncé !
Hotel a éviter et situé dans une zone hyper reculée avec rien aux alentours. L’hôtel est vraiment indigne d'un 4* malheureusement et il s'agit vraiment d'un commentaire objectif. Rapport qualité prix plus que douteux vu les 135 eur/nuit payés. Ma deuxième semaine a Maurice je l'ai passée au sofitel non loin de la et du coup j'ai sauvé mon séjour! Restauration médiocre sans réel choix+ chambre relativement sommaire et même un peu sale par endroit + isolement total = un hôtel a vraiment éviter. Le seul point positif est la possibilité d’entrée au arc animalier compris dans le prix mais franchement c'est tout ce que je vois comme aspect positif a cet hôtel somme toute médiocre.

Hotel a rénover .... construction en face , debout à 7h, ne mérite pas toutes ces étoiles , A éviter y'a beaucoup mieux a Maurice et meme pour moins cher. Literie a revoir très vite.... Le Golf et son personnel est a l'image de tout ce que le rejette : PUANT ..... Coté positif, un personnel accueillant et souriant et restauration correcte.

I would stay here again in a heart beat. The team at Tamarina are the BEST ! I was made to feel so unbelievably welcome and I enjoyed every moment of my stay. The rooms are large, spacious, well kept and all have great views. There are lots of swimming pools and a beautiful beachfront. The F&B team are exceptional and the food is delicious. You can't go wrong here.

The hotel is in very nice garden and has lovely beach. Rooms are already outdated for 4 star hotel. Major issue is the every day noise from construction site right next to the rooms at the garden. Since we were with little kid we had to sometimes take out used nappies ourselves. Facilities are not very suitable for families with little kids (no kids poll, lot of stairs etc). Food was very good, F&B manager was very kind and caring. The location of the hotel is quite isolated so you need a car if you want to move around. The beach is suitable for surfing as there is not coral reef. We got some big waves during our stay. View from restaurant is beautiful.

le site est magnifique et la plage aussi Par contre la vue de la chambre sur des travaux et un batiment en construction ne mérite pas ce prix la. Ensuite la qualité du repas pris au restaurant sur la plage laisse a désirer les frito misto =de mauvais qualité malgré un service très correct

Hotel liegt an einer sehr ruhigen Lage und da es wenig Zimmer hat, sehr ideal für Erholungsurlaub. Frühstück- und Abendessen mit abwechslungsreichen Buffet. Hotel-Personal nicht immer effizient und schnell. Zimmer geräumig und sauber aber bei uns erst ab 17 Uhr verfügbar. Alles in allem gutes Hotel, leider jedoch nicht am Traumatrand von Mauritius (da nicht von Riff geschützt).

Lovely hotel near the beach
My husband and I spent a week here at the end of February. The hotel is secluded and down a long road which makes it very relaxing and quiet. The hotel grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The rooms are spacious and clean and serviced every day. There is a lovely beach and we went for lovely walks evryday. The food is amazing. We enjoyed every meal we had. The staff are friendly and polite. If you are looking for somewhere relaxing this is the hotel for you.

Siamo appena rientrati da una vacanza di otto giorni in questo hotel. Mare non particolarmente bello ma divertente per le onde. Dovrebbero pulire di piu' la spiaggia (un cesto pieno di rifiuti dopo la notte di Capodanno, solo dopo diverse rimostranze degli Ospiti ê stato rimosso, salvo scoprire che era solo stato spostato di qualche metro più in lá dove è rimasto per altri due giorni. Personale disponibile ma non tutto all'altezza e spesso molto lento (eccellenti Asha e Ram). Pochi posacenere in giro e nessun cestino. Camera buona. Flessibilitá da parte dello chef nell'accontentare le nostre richieste ma poca varietá nei piatti. Pur avendo fatto la mezza pensione l'acqua era a pagamento.
