Sauna Belleayre Cozy Cabin


This charming 1-bedroom cabin offers a full kitchen, dining area, living room, and a full bathroom. The cabin sleeps up to 4 guests comfortably, with a full-size bed in the bedroom and a pull-out queen bed in the living room. A cozy new fireplace is available if you’d prefer it over the furnace to keep warm.

Step outside onto the spacious 300 sq. ft. deck, perfect for enjoying breathtaking mountain views or stargazing. Situated on 7.5 acres, the property is ideal for snowshoeing, hiking, or bird watching, with a waterfall and springs that lead to a pond, home to a few mallards in the spring.

The cabin is very private, with only one neighboring house located across the driveway. This neighboring house also belongs to us and is available as a rental, ensuring a peaceful and quiet stay.

Enjoy the firepit for roasting marshmallows or summer camping under the stars.

The location is unbeatable! Belleayre Ski Resort and a beautiful swimming lake are just a 5-7 minute drive away. Every Saturday in the summer, there’s a farmers market 8 miles from the cabin. The Catskill Scenic Railway is 5 miles away, along with tubing opportunities on the Esopus River, hidden swimming holes, and some of the best hiking trails the Catskills have to offer.

Centrally located, this cabin provides easy access to everything you need for an unforgettable stay!

The road is plowed in the winter and accessible by most cars.

Perfect place for our weekend ski trip that suited all of our needs. We enjoyed warming up by the fireplace and spending time the sauna. The short drive to Belleayre Mountain was a huge plus. The host was kind and very quick to respond to any questions or concerns.

This was our third stay and it’s always been a joy. The cabin is clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we might need. The deck out front has a beautiful view of the mountains. Wonderful stay with my toddler son. House was clean and had everything ww needed. Back deck was great for eating meals, playing and just relaxing (theres a gate on the end to fully enclose ). Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

Weekend Getaway - Mountain Jam at Bellayre Mtn.

The property is just as described and pictured, and everything was in working order. The Owner is very quick to respond to any communication. Less than 10 min. to Bellaire Mountain, and with a fireplace, would make a nice cabin for winter weekend ski getaways. It is small... We were 2 adults and one child--- adults took the bedroom and the child on the futon in the living room. 2 Adults and 2 children would probably max the space; although more could fit it might not be very comfortable. Bring pillows, and knives. Our daughter liked the pond, where there are lots of tadpoles, frogs, and a little garter snake was hanging out too.

I stayed several days in October. The cabin was cozy, clean and just as described. My ducks loved the pond and the little waterfall. The other cabin was a bit close so next time I will rent both and have my family come up with me. You could hear the noise from the road even though it was not that close nor could you see it. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

NOT secluded - description & photos misleading

Upon arrival is when we were surprised to find another rental property, also owned by host, about 100' away directly facing this property. The two properties share the driveway, parking and the 7.5 acres. The other rental is larger and taller allowing those occupants full view of this property's outside areas; deck, pond, sauna. It is less than 25' behind sauna due to shared driveway. It's automatic flood lights shine onto this property for hours at night. If you don't close blinds and curtain they can see into the common areas of this cabin also. In our experience there is NO privacy - you're watched and heard clearly by anyone at the other rental. We contacted host about this and was only offered a refund if we left which wasn't an option for us at that time since we were in the area for personal reasons commencing on our last night and travelling with 2 senior dogs. So we were stuck... staying here with the coming and going of 3 different renters and cleaning crews at the other property for our 6 days. We will not rent any property from this host again, we prefer host with intergity.....and we rent cabins a least 7 times a year in various states.

Omg! My husband my twin sister her husband and I we had a beautiful time in this cozy cabin, everything was perfect, so quiet you only hear the frogs at night we did barbecue we did the fire in the fire pit, enjoy dinner every night sitting at the deck looking the nice view to the mountains. Cozy Cabin Near Belleayre

A perfect spot so close to the slopes! The fireplace makes it extra cozy. Great size home for a small group/family. Too bad we never got to try the sauna -- it's a great feature.

Cozy base for solo hiking weekend

The cabin was perfect for my needs. I came to the Catskills for a weekend of hiking in late autumn. Everything was well maintained and convenient. The property lacked for nothing. The sauna was relaxing after a day in the woods (you can hear the creek from inside the sauna) and the excellent fireplace kept me toasty on the chilly November nights. Especially loved the great rocking chair and charming Northwoods decor. Would gladly stay again.
