'The staff were attentive and accommodating. The hotel is modern, clean, and is located with easy access to highways. The highways are close but the noise is similar to using a 'white noise' machine. We visited in January and we didn't have any issues with parking. '

'We stayed in a suite and it was great! So much room. There is a great bar area where we could get snacks and drinks and take up to the room. Pool and hot tub looked great though we didn’t use them. Would highly recommend and would not hesitate to stay here again.'

Love the 24-hour complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate in the lobby (regular cream and milk would be preferred over non-dairy creamer). Appreciated bag with water and a treat offered at check-in and complimentary cookies at the front desk.'

'Except for when ordering thru Expedia, we were A group of 4 people and only offered A King Bed. They said at the front desk that Expedia does this all the time. At the time of booking, I said said we were A group of 4, So bad on Expedia,'

'I did like the location of this hotel. it was right downtown Hamilton. Very near the Jackson Square mall. And it has a (expensive) parking garage. And some of the staff where very nice,polite and helpfull. But that was about it in a positive way. Now for the downsides: They don't accept cash, till you say: I only have cash... A hotel is not a car rental. Hotels should accept cash. Period. There are only 2 elevators for 16 floors. Very long waiting time for the elevators. Imagine when 1 elevator...

'Comfortable bed and lovely amenities in our room. Spectacular views from upper level porch overlooking the city and Lake Ontario. Home cooked farm fresh breakfast was delicious! Great restaurants within a 5-20 minute walk for lunch and dinner. Gwen and Ken were such gracious hosts who made us feel right at home. '

'Heating was noisy and very dry air. When you turned it of it was too cold in the room within one hour. Restaurant next door quit and when I asked the desk where I can find a restaurant she send me to a gasstation. Never go there again.'
