'We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel with a very helpfull and friendly staff. The room was large, clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was so good, we will certainly come back again'

'De prijs is erg hoog voor wat je krijgt. Ons bed was erg smal voor 2 personen en de kamer was klein. Lijkt erop dat deze kamer normaliter voor 1 persoon is want er hing ook maar 1 badjas. Duur betaald voor 1 nacht slapen. Ontbijt was goed'

'Very swanky, nicely equipped, good staff. Our only complaint was that the bed wasn't very comfy and didn't match the quality of the hotel which was otherwise stellar. Free breakfast was decent with the option to order made to order breakfast for a charge if you wanted.'

'Beautiful scenes of the sea and mountains from the breakfast room and bedroom. Nice room with ensuite bathroom. Only the wifi didn't work properly. Lady of the house had tried to fix this, but with no luck during our stay. '

We checked in slightly early to be told that our room was already available so we were able to unpack abd then make the most of the swimming pool, before getting ready for dinner. 'We had an early ferry to Islay the next morning, and the staff were so thoughtful to prepare our breakfast ahead of time and leave it at the front desk. Great service and nice, comfortable room. The hotel is also very close to the ferry terminal — only about a 10-minute drive, which was very convenient.'
