I enjoyed staying at this hotel and most of the staff were friendly.
My room was close to the music so if I wanted to go to sleep early I needed to wear earplugs, I would suggest asking for a room away from the music speakers. One staff member offered to turn the music down earlier than midnight which was helpful.
I did have a negative experience when dealing with the manager/receptionist of the hotel. I was not told that they only accept cash when using the woman’s private shuttle car that her son was driving from the airport to the hotel. I explained several times to the woman that I did not have any cash because my debit card was taken by an ATM machine on that same day I arrived at Dalaman airport and I am trying to get in touch with my bank to receive an emergency replacement card. I offered to pay via eftpos with my digital card and also offered to transfer money directly into the woman’s bank account as an international transfer however she did not accept this and said she only takes cash as a payment.
The next day I heard her yelling at a staff member on the phone about me when they called her to say I haven’t been able to obtain cash as they bank need more time. She showed very little empathy or compassion for my situation and came across as unprofessional and inconsiderate. I was not happy with how she handled my the situation.
