In the Faxe limestone quarry, Faxe Kalkbrud in Danish, you can look back on 63 million years of history. A short drive will take you to Skovtårnet, an architecturally striking tower in the middle of the Gisselfeld forest, which offers a unique panoramic view, and there is also a climbing park afterwards, making it a wonderful day out for the whole family.
