'Property was absolutely filthy and needed updated at least a decade ago, if not longer. There is a "remodel" going on, but what exactly is being improved? No clue, we saw no improvements. What we did see was torn and hanging wallpaper literally everywhere, construction dust and trash from days? weeks? months? prior with absolutely no attempt to keep the establishment tidy. When I called front desk the employee told me they are working on it and that management was on the way to the hotel. Fast forward an hour later, still no hot water. So I spoke to the front desk employee to get a partial refund and cancel my next night, she seemed like she was very bothered with that question.'

'I was not impressed with this hotel, there were groups of people gathered outside in the evenings being very loud. No housekeeping, I took out my own trash, toilet broke the first night, maintenance fixed the next day. Two separate buildings, the lobby was in the opposite building as what I was in. I was not told towels had to be exchanged to get new towels until I was already in the lobby asking for clean towels. I left the lobby went into the second building all the way up to the third floor...

'This place is a dive. Rooms reek of smoke. It’s not secured (broken exterior side door) and the facility is completely in ill repair. The best part was checking out.'

It was within 20-25 minutes of the zoo, union station and the downtown and within minutes of the Westport Plaza....
