Welcome to our inviting Lake Hartwell retreat, a cozy lakefront house with a covered dock that offers a serene escape for your next vacation. Nestled on the shores of beautiful Lake Hartwell, our vacation rental is situated in a wide cove overlooking the Tugaloo main channel, marked by buoy marker T60A on the lake. Whether you bring your own boat or decide to rent one from the nearby marina, you're in for a world of fun, from tubing and water skiing to swimming and relaxing on the lake.

Our property is well-equipped with modern amenities, including high-speed internet and four TVs with YouTube TV for your entertainment. The large covered porch extends across the entire length of the house, creating the sensation of being in a treehouse, where you can gaze out over a wooded lot and the serene lake. Additionally, we offer a wonderful patio with a fire pit, perfect for evenings filled with s'mores and memorable conversations. A paved path, while steep in one section, provides a workout on your way down to the covered dock with a convenient ladder for swimming.

Inside, our spacious home boasts 4 bedrooms and 4 baths, with room to comfortably accommodate your group. On the main level, you'll find a master suite with a king-size bed, a jet tub, and a separate shower for your relaxation. Bedroom #2 features two sets of bunk beds and a separate bath/shower combination. The kitchen and a small seating area are also on this level, as well as a washer and dryer for your convenience. Step outside to the beautiful porch, equipped with new furniture, offering stunning views of the wooded lot and the lake.

The terrace level features Bedroom #3, another master with a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom/shower. Bedroom #4 offers a queen-size bed with a bathroom/shower just outside the door. The TV sitting area includes a wet bar and a mini fridge, making it a perfect space for relaxation and entertainment. The patio here also extends the entire length of the house.The fire pit is made for enjoyable evenings - it is one of our most popular features!

Parking is convenient, with space for four double-stacked cars, ensuring your comfort during your stay. Our location is a mere 6 miles from exit 1 on I-85 in South Carolina, only 90 minutes from Atlanta, 30 minutes from Clemson, and just an hour from Greenville. For those who love outdoor adventures, the nearby mountains, hiking trails, and waterfalls offer endless exploration possibilities. Plus, we provide a tandem kayak for our guests, so you can make the most of your time on the water.

Relax with your family and friends in our charming log cabin on Lake Hartwell. It's the perfect setting for creating lasting memories during your vacation.

Overall, we had a good stay. There is very little closet space for guest. Cabin could be cleaner especially porches. Cobwebs all over the front entrance and the covered porch off the kitchen. Dog food on the floor in bathroom off of master BR. When we swept down cobwebs and the floor of covered porch we found several bones on the floor. We saw 2 cockroaches in the kitchen. We were able to kill one. Cabin needs to be exterminated for bugs. If there's 2 there's more that were not seen.

Very nice house and the people who owns it was very nice and Connie went beyond in being helpful when I asked her about what to do with the grandchildren around there. Always got back with me right away. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home.

Excellent Hostess and GREAT house!

We were affected by wildfires in our area and Connie made the home available on short notice and went out of her way to ensure the house was cleaned and ready! She was so easy to communicate with and the hope was immaculate! It is in an area of the lake that we are very familiar with and know many people in the area. The house easily sleeps large families or friends and has a great layout to allow for privacy if you have large groups or two families! The dock is easily accessible and there is also a fire pit. Best of all is a HUGE back porch to sit and relax and chill by the lake! I highly recommend the home and you will not find a better hostess than Connie! She was such a blessing to us in a very stressful time and we will definitely rent the home again! She is a class act with a lovely home!

Guys weekend + Unexpected Hurricane

We arrived at the property a day after Hurricane Helene passed through the Upstate. Unfortunately a tree up the road snapped some power lines and we didn’t have electricity for the couple days we stayed. That said we really enjoyed our trip and communication with Connie was excellent and she was super responsive. Gas grill and porch got lots of use. Thanks again for having us and we might have to come back to get the full experience

Well stocked kitchen, games; small living and kitchen areas but large porch for family meals if you have more than two or four folks. Very steep path to dock but cement made it very doable for all that are decently mobile. Great communication with responsive hostess.

Relaxing stay

Great place in quiet cove. Dock and deck were heavily used. 4 out of for cleanliness due to the deck not being cleaned. In fairness due to confusion with previous guest the cleaning team had to be quicker than usual and the Host offered to have them come back. That’s my only negative after that we did a trip to the grocery and had seven days of rest and relaxation. Kitchen was well equipped and group dinners (8 of us) on the deck were awesome. Overall I would definitely recommend.

This place was the perfect little getaway!! The fireplace outside is beautiful even in the early evenings, and makes for some stunning pictures. The check in process was super convenient and Connie made it very easy to get to directions wise. Will definitely have to check this place out in the summer months!

Fun with friends!

We loved the porch and spend most of our time there! The porch table was great for eating and playing games! You cannot see much of the lake from the house and the walk from the lake to the house is a really steep climb! Because of that, we only went to the lake to get on the pontoon. There are four bedrooms and four bathrooms which was great! The fire pit area is really nice too! We had a great time there!

Great place for friends and young families

We rent at Lake Hartwell frequently. This was one of my favorite places. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies. The back porch is giant and perfect for dining with a large crew. Having 4 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms is another a common find so that was awesome. And the fire pit was a nice bonus. Everything was clean and the host were quick to answer questions. In full transparency, the house is not ideal for elderly guests or your super bougie friends. I will definitely rent again with my friends (who were the guests this time) but for our family with the grandparents we will unfortunately pay a premium for easier lane access. There is sidewalk all the way to the dock but it is fairly steep and without steps for a portion that my elderly relatives would not be able to negotiate. Those with youthful legs and lungs will have no issue though! 5 stars ⭐️ especially for the price!!
