'Check in procedure was a bit unusual for me, if I’m honest. It took a couple of phone calls, emails and having to download their app. That said straightforward once you understood it. Paid offsite parking is a block away. Wouldn’t have been ideal if I’d had a suitcase to lug around. Parking and accommodation on separate invoices. I had clocked it not a hotel, but serviced boutique apartments. Location is great. Good choice of eateries close by. All said, now that I know what to expect...

'The flat/annexe was extremely clean and the host was very welcoming. The bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent. Extremely peaceful and relaxing, if you enjoy walking it is also the place for you. Highly recommended.'

'Lovely hotel and grounds. Spotlessly clean, warm and inviting modern double bedroom. Very dog friendly hotel- great! Lovely setting. Polite reception staff. Didn't get to see inside the hall itself, as another event on as New Years Eve. Bar in the main hotel a little quiet at midnight, but that wasn't the hotels fault, just the guests if they had gone to bed!- as there was a DJ. Drinks at a price to be expected in a hotel. Didn't eat as room only for one night, so can't comnent on food. Same...
