Aparthotels in Ethiopië

"Fijn om in een echt Ethiopisch hotel te verblijven met heel oude geschiedenis. De tuin is prachtig. De service is geweldig. Ik ben blij met dit hotel."

"Enkel de lobby/bar hebben een upgrade gehad. Kamer was zeer verouderd met een balkondeur die niet goed sloot en een badkamer waar overal vlekken zaten, zeer verouderd bad/douche. Mijn inziens een overpriced hotel dat de kwaliteit niet levert. Personeel was grotendeels vriendelijk. Echter meermaals gehad dat er na schoonmaken geen handdoekken aanwezig waren. De 24/7 roomservice neemt na 24:00 niet op. Zwembad was groot en schoon. Fijne handdoekenserive. Overall zou ik het niet aanraden. "

"We booked 2 rooms and requested connecting rooms with double beds..reply from hotel was that we had to pay 50 usd for extra beds. Once arrived none of the requests had been planned and we ended up with single beds. Immidiatly next to the room cargo was handled and the noise and vibrations made sleeping impossible. Beds were trembling... Staff was really not caring, manager ot available while the replies clearly indicated that staff is aware of the noise problems in several parts of the hotel, but many complaints haven't lead to a solution. What seems to be a comfortable option (sleeping in terminal) is actually a nightmare...instead of hotelroom Ethiopian should better advertise 'bed in main cargo loading area'. My claim was simpky wavered of by the desk lady, perfectly trained to dodge unsatisfied customers. Avoid this place or waste your money...you have the choice!"
