Au nord d'Ephraim, niché dans une rue tranquille, repose cette maison de cèdre sur 5 hectares de bois. Seulement 2 min. conduire (peut faire du vélo) au centre-ville d'Ephraim & Sister Bay ou 8 minutes à Fish Creek. Un complexe familial privé isolé pour les rassemblements mais à quelques minutes des meilleures plages, parcs, activités et restaurants de la péninsule. La maison de divertissement ultime avec 5 400 pieds carrés. Décoré avec des meubles sur mesure, des matelas en peluche haut de gamme. Détendez-vous dans un style côtier décontracté mais sophistiqué dans cette maison de 5 chambres pouvant accueillir confortablement jusqu'à 12 personnes. Nous nous efforçons de réfléchir aux détails pour rendre votre séjour inoubliable. House est bien garnie avec des plats, des verres à vin en cristal, des ustensiles de cuisine, des serviettes en peluche, des linges de lit raffinés, des jeux, un détergent à lessive, etc. En arrivant, vous verrez la grande pelouse entourant la maison pour les jeux de pelouse, un garage pour 2 voitures et une charmante cabane en rondins des années 1930 restaurée. Maison de jeux parfaite pour les enfants ou retraite pour les adultes. Cuisine Gourmet: Appareil Viking, Cafetière, Keurig, Four grille-pain, Lave-vaisselle, Micro-ondes, Cuisinière / Four, Mixeur. La vie principale est au 2ème étage avec une vue magnifique sur les bois, le lever du soleil et les couchers de soleil. Il y a 2 salons; d'abord une "grande chambre" avec une cheminée en pierre, un plafond voûté et un écran plat de 50 "avec accès à la véranda spacieuse et à la grande terrasse panoramique avec cheminée extérieure, parfaite pour faire des s'mores. Le deuxième salon est adjacent à une cheminée en brique au gaz et à une table de salle à manger pouvant accueillir 10 personnes. Ce salon / salle à manger est ouvert sur une cuisine gastronomique avec un coin salon pour 4 personnes. Le 2ème pont est séparé de la cuisine avec plus de sièges et un barbecue à gaz Weber Genesis. Le niveau inférieur fini comprend un Home Cinéma 70 'avec son surround, Blu Ray / DVD, un grand canapé-lit, un minibar et une demi-baignoire. SlingTV & Netflix. Table de ping pong. This was a wonderful property! The house was amazing and a really good layout for our group. We had ages 8 - 75 and everyone loved it. The kids especially loved the basement and ping pong table. It was a great location - super convenient to everything. The grounds were beautiful. Our only complaint was that our trip wasn’t long enough!

We had a wonderful time at this home. The surrounding grounds are amazing and full of wildflowers. The home itself met all of our needs and more. It was the perfect place for a family gathering with lots to entertain the children. Our favorite spot was gathering around the outside fireplace and toasting s'mores. We had a fabulous time and Amanda and her husband were very responsive to our needs and questions. We loved Door County!

The group that was there has collectively stayed at many VRBO,S. We discussed the over-all shape of the house and it definitely needs some work, especially for the cost of what we paid for the five days we were there. It needs a deep clean, staircase carpet was very dirty, dead bugs in doorways and corner of some of the second floor rooms. Both wine refrigerators were broken (we think?, or we couldn’t figure out how to turn them on), the faucet in the kitchen was broken (back switch converter) but still useable. The third floor bathroom shower needs to be addressed…handle was broken and the shower water stopped but would still be running. There were no beach chairs or beach towels and that was a surprise considering it’s on Lake Michigan. It states in the property description that there is a hot tub. There is no hot tub, which was disappointing and a surprise. Some of the outlets did not work. FP in DR did not turn on. Amanda was always available to talk/text and getting in the house was easy. The property is private and location great to everything. Outside deck was the main destination for the group.

Best Door County Trip Ever

I've been coming to Door County for 70 years from childhood with my parents to now, a grandpa with 4 grandchildren. This is our second stay here and it was wonderful in every way. We enjoy the privacy of this beautiful home and the convenient location, just a few minutes away from Ephraim or Sister Bay. Just a bit farther to Bailey's Harbor. Nothing but superlatively positive comments about the home and its owner who is always ready for questions or concerns that may come up. We'll be back.

Perfect Sister Bay and Ephraim Getaway

House was the perfect vacation for my family vacation! The house was well appointed, clean, and with a great location. There was play areas for children. Lots of TVs and separate hang out spaces. The kitchen was large and easy to navigate. The host was responsive to questions. Don’t hesitate to book for your door county family vacation!

Gorgeous home in the woods

Stayed with my family for fall mini vacay (9 women aged 25-75), space for all of us, great decor, everything you need in the kitchen, beautiful bedrooms and master bath, lovely woods to walk in, quiet neighborhood, and many areas to hang out. Really nice screened in porch and outdoor FP, we had the best time! Highly recommend.

Beautiful Home

Thank you for sharing your beautiful, spacious, and well located home with our family. Our group of 5 retired siblings and their spouses thoroughly enjoyed all of your amenities and the easy access to many of the attractions in Door County. We also enjoyed the frequent visits from the wild turkeys and deer. Since we all enjoy cooking and eating, the well equipped kitchen and large dining table were especially appreciated. The only item we wanted and couldn't find was a pie plate. We only wish the weather had cooperated a little more so we could have made more use of your outdoor spaces. Maybe next time.

Absolutely wonderful!

My husband, 2 daughters with their families and I spent a great week in this lovely home - 6 adults and 4 kids ages 1 to 6. While this would be a fabulous place for adults, it was also very family friendly. We ate dinner in the large dining room, played with Legos in the screened porch on a rainy morning and made s'mores in the outdoor fireplace on the deck. The front and back yards were great play spaces. The kitchen had a huge supply of dishes (plastic and china), silverware and pots and pans. There was a double oven, large fridge and pantry. We used it all. There was a nice variety of toys and especially nice kids' books. Each family had bedrooms and bathrooms on their own floor, so we could choose to be together or have some privacy. We made great use of the Door County fun close by, but we could escape the crowds in this secluded space. And the owner was very responsive to my many questions before our stay. My family gathers somewhere every year. If we return to Door County, we'll hope that this house is available.

Amazing

Great place that could accommodate all of our extended family in a central location. The kitchen was wonderful for a big group and had everything you could possibly want for cooking and grilling. We loved the large tables and many chair for dining indoor or outdoor. It was a very memorable experience and the house allowed for us to have a lot of together time and enough room for privacy also.

Family stay

The house was absolutely beautiful!! There were so many cool touches that made it unique and so homey. I would definitely stay here again if we came back to Door County! We did a lot of touring, so didn’t spend as much time at the house as we would have liked too, but the time we did spend there cooking and on the patio with the outdoor fireplace was so memorable and relaxing!!! The owner was amazing at getting back to us quickly and seamed very kind and caring. I would recommend this home if you want a beautiful, clean, upscale home to enjoy with friends or family!! 💜

Holiday stay

Our family celebrated Christmas at this beautiful cozy home in the woods. It was perfect for spending time with family. The kitchen was amazing! It was a lovely setting in the woods. Great dining room for our holiday meals. Close to town. Everyone had a great time.

Perfect family vacation home

Amanda, We absolutely thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Norra Skogen. It was a fabulous house for me and my family from the UK to get together in. Plenty of space for all and so beautifully decorated - we felt at home immediately. Beautiful home, perfect for big group

Our large family stayed for a week and it was fabulous. The house has a large kitchen for cooking in a big group, lovely deck and fireplace for outdoor gathering. Setting is in the woods which is private and quiet. Near Sister Bay and Ephraim for shopping and things to do without being right in the crowds. Host was super kind, easily accessible with easy check in. Highly recommend, would stay here again!

Large newer home on a dead end street of other large homes with large lots. Very well stocked in every way. Plenty of room for three families. Very quiet location and has features that are reminiscent of old Door County.

Wonderful family getaway

The large home was spotless and beautiful. Plenty of amenities. Check in and out were easy. The kids loved running around outside and roasting marshmallows in the outdoor fireplace. Internet kept going out, but not the property’s fault! Had some movies interrupted and one of the adults sadly had to work over the weekend and did have to go to a coffee house to finish. Don’t let this deter you from the overall experience. We were incredibly happy with the kind service and beautiful decor. My son left his tablet accidentally at check out, and the cleaning staff reported it and the owner called me immediately to arrange getting it back to us. What wonderful service!

Winter Wonderland

Wonderful home, centrally located to everything in Door County. Home was super clean, well furnished and very comfortable and cozy. Only a few minor complaints, that are barely worth mentioning...(a few light bulbs out and really poor Internet...although the poor wifi/internet is likely a location/Door County issue given that we have experienced problems before at other homes in the Door). Overall, the owner and manager were extremely friendly, very responsive and nice to deal with. The home is very well appointed and very cozy. It's on a large lot and tucked back away from HWY 42 allowing for privacy, silence and wonderful walks just outside the front door. Great for large families. We would for sure recommend renting from this owner and staying at this home!

Beautiful Fall Weekend

This is a lovely home and generously accommodated our family for a beautiful fall weekend in Door County. We especially enjoyed the outdoor decks and fireplaces. The kitchen is very well stocked and provided amazing views of the wild turkeys and deer that stopped by to visit. It is centrally located with easy access to restaurants, shops and Peninsula State Park. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us!
