Visit Lemon Bay and experience waterfront living. Mangroves and woods for privacy on this 2 acre home. There's a 10,000 lb boat life functional for anyone wanting to boat and store their boat, and a fish dock as well with plenty of fish. Kayaks are available for kayaking round the canal or lemon bay and even to lemon bay national park. Come watch dolphin or even manatee ! or simply enjoy the beautiful sunset from the dock. A spacious living space and porch allows you to also enjoy sunset views and entertain or simply bar b q. The downstairs living area provides a fun arcade and bar space for those who love to entertain or relax. This is a perfect spot close to downtown Englewood and the beaches and a quiet neighborhood. Your going to love this beautiful home.

HVAC was very poor. The house was 54 degrees inside due to the cold snap. The furnace was not on, and it took over 24 hours to bring the house up to 70 degrees, with the aid of space heaters.The grill was filthy, and our host told us someone would come by to clean it; never happened. Very minimal view of the water.The wether warmed, we could not open the windows due to lack of screens. There was no vacuum cleaner or swifter to use by guests, so staying tidy was difficult .

We enjoyed ourselves, the house is very nice and large and we were able to catch some fish off the dock, we also saw manatees and dolphins. The only negative would be mosquitos but that should be expected given the locations proximity to water. There is a beach within a 5 minute drive.

The pictures don’t do it justice!

This is a great location right on the water! Kayaks and fishing gear is provided. It is a short drive to the beach!The gourmet kitchen and living room were perfect for hanging out and the veranda and pier are perfect for a morning coffee.

This is a repeat stay for us at this location. The facilities are very clean and well maintained. The host is available if any issues were to arise. The location is outstanding, private, and beautiful. We hope to stay there again.

Reasonably priced getaway home with nice main floor area and beautiful master bedroom suite. Additional bedrooms downstairs were more kid friendly especially with no shower on that floor. Very private and quiet property!

Property seclusion was pleasant. House open and clean. A house manual with local activities/beaches would be very helpful for the guests. In addition, a few comfort items for the guests would be great, such as small cooler, travel mug, kitchen utensils for cooking.

Large, unique home and property

Very clean, spacious home. Peaceful and secluded, yet close to everything. Great, well stocked kitchen and the owner was very responsive. The dock was not operable due to hurricane damage, but is getting fixed.

Holiday Family Reunion

This property was an absolute junk! It was hidden away and absolute privacy to the most beautiful palm trees, fire pit, covered bridge, dock, boat lift, waterfront, we took our paddle boards out every day, we use the boat, there’s a boat marina just 2.2 miles down the road. The house was stunning, very spacious, very clean, everything you could possibly need and done some! You can tell they put a lot of TLC into this property and their home!

Fishing Retreat

We enjoyed our fishing getaway! The house was spacious and well stocked. It was very private which was nice and we enjoyed fishing on the dock in the mornings and evenings before the no see ums came out. We even caught a couple fish off the dock which was nice! The property manager always responded right away and was very helpful. Farlows on the water is a must to eat at! We all really enjoyed our weekend family retreat!

Wonderful place for family Event

Great Location

We loved our stay in Englewood on the water. The location was great being on the canal and then less than 5 minutes to the beach. My son and his friend loved fishing off the dock! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook a big family dinner. We also appreciated the toiletries in the bathrooms. This is a big, beautiful homes suited for families.

Living in a Tropical Paradise

The home is beautiful, spacious and well supplied. The property is private and located on a canal that leads to Lemon Bay. You are able to watch manatee swim by, several species of birds fly by, and catch fish if you can outsmart them. The host is fabulous and very helpful. A definite destination for a relaxing stay!

Spectacular Jungle Sanctuary

A gravel road winds through a palm jungle to reveal a magnificent two-story mansion with atrium like high ceilings and beautiful views of the palm and oak forest, with paths leading down to the forked creek canal. Sparse furnishings provide pristine comfort, and don’t detract from the palatial feeling of the estate-like setting. The kitchen is furnished with beautiful ceramic cookware to use on the Viking-like gas range, and the new model GE oven and microwave built in. A walk across the bridge that protects the mangroves takes you to the kayaks and the elevated boat dock, where you can spend hours watching the fish jump out of the water as the resident eagle attempts to grab them with his talons. Dolphins, manatees, birds of every color - they’re all there in your own personal estate level oasis.
