Lazy Days beach cottage is a comfortable 2-bedroom, 2-bath home that is just 120 steps from the Gulf of Mexico. The home is well-stocked and ideally located between the public beach and Stump Pass State Park on the beach side of Gulf Blvd. Stumpy’s “free golf cart ride” stops at the home for island transportation.

"Tarpon Capital of the World". This area is the state's second largest marine estuary, species making it one of the best places to fish in Florida.

Discover the wonders of Stump Pass Park, where you can explore 265 acres of sandy trails, boating, and pristine beaches. Encounter diverse wildlife including herons, pelicans, and dolphins. Don't miss the sea turtle nests coming alive with hatchlings from May 1 to October 31.

Fossilized shark's teeth are a favorite find for beachcombers, and you'll find many among the shells. Snorkel in the clear water for sand dollars and tropical treasures. Set up your umbrella and enjoy peaceful sunsets undisturbed, away from the public beach.

The house has been completely renovated and is in a great location. It is easily walkable to the bars/restaurants and Stump Pass. It is a very short walk down the road to the beach and we took the provided beach chairs down to the beach for most sunsets. The only negative is that the bathroom for the queen bedroom is a long walk away from the bedroom. All and all it was great- the owners and Perry did everything they could to make our stay very comfortable and enjoyable.

What a great mini vacation at Lazy Days! The house absolutely fit our needs perfectly and the bonus beach toys were put to good use. The kitchen was equipped with newer appliances, and although we chose to eat out most of the time, all the cooking essentials were up to par. Having the beach right down the road was amazing. Our 14 year old got to venture out all over the key for fishing opportunities and had an amazing time making friends with the locals. We had zero issues during our stay, but I'm sure they would have been dealt with. Great communication on the front end from the owner/manager. We would definitely stay at Lazy Days again! 5 stars for sure.

We thoroughly enjoyed the pet-friendly environment, and our puppies Carly and Emma, had a wonderful time. The rooms, kitchen, and the entire space were charmingly decorated. Due to the impact of Hurricane Helena and Milton, the area had suffered significant damage, and many homes were still undergoing repairs. The hosts were delightful, and communication was prompt and efficient. We certainly plan to return.

The host was very friendly and even let us check in early, which we appreciated. The location was good, and overall the house had potential for a great stay.That said, some advertised amenities weren’t as expected. The grill hadn’t been cleaned, the beach umbrellas and cart were broken, and the ice maker didn’t work. Only a few laundry strips were provided, yet checkout required washing towels, and no dishwasher detergent was supplied though we were asked to run it. I even had to replace the fridge filter myself.Individually these things are small, but together they showed a need for better upkeep. A simple checklist between guests would solve most of it. The booklet promised “everything you need” and even asked for a 5-star review, which didn’t match the reality.

We really enjoyed our stay at lazy days. The place inside was beautifully decorated and very comfortable it felt like home. The owners were very nice and responsive. We thought perhaps the outside could do with some cleaning and improved upon slightly. A keypad on the back door would be nice so we don’t have to walk through the house coming from the beach. We will definitely be coming back. It was a very nice stay. Thank you for all the details.

They thought of everything.

This place is one of the most clean, nicest places I have stayed on a beach vacation. From talking to hosts before the visit to the time we left, everything was wonderful! The house smelled clean. Like the smell you want in your house when your mom does a surprise drop in. The floors were beautiful, I could walk around the house and my feet stayed clean. The house was open and bright. The beds were delightfully comfy. Plenty of pillows. Everything was great. The kitchen was labeled. Everything had a label. I knew where everything was. No need to play Clue when looking for your silverware or trash bags. Also, you know how some places expect you to survive with a half a roll of paper towels and 7 squares of toilet paper for your stay? Not here. Everything was exactly as you needed it. The walk to the beach was exactly 120 steps. Yes, I counted. I couldn't resist. Driveway to sand, 120 leisurely steps. Take the beach cart. Trust me. Stay here. Breathe deep. Watch the sunsets. You deserve it.

Wonderful stay!

Debbie was fantastic to talk with. She kept us up to date on everything and check in was so easy. The house was perfect for our family of four, we loved all of the provided beach equipment. The house was clean and recently updated. The location was perfect and only a few stops away from the beach. We will definitely be staying here again!!!

Wonderful accommodations and location! The hosts are very easily accessible for communication and have the home set up beautifully. Our kids loved the board games and the easy walk down to the beach. We brought our own gear but the house has bikes, beach chairs & towels, a beach cart, boogie boards, everything you pretty much need. The beds were very comfortable and the appliances were top notch. Only small things we noticed for possible recommendations throughout our week, specifically when traveling with young kids, was towel hooks inside the bathrooms or on the shower walls to hang all the suits and it’d be nice for a key pad on the back door also so when you’re coming straight in from the beach, no one has to go around to the front and trek thru the house to let the beachy family inside to get cleaned up. We loved our stay here and won’t hesitate to return. It’s exciting to see the Key recovering little by little after Milton. Thanks again!

Very nice place
