Experience complete serenity in the middle of the beautiful Ozark Mountains near some of the clearest rivers and streams. Whether you just want a quiet get away to take in all nature has to offer or you want to float, kayak, trail ride, hike, fish, boat, sxs ride, explore beautiful springs, search for the wild horse herds or just do nothing! We offer horse stalls for BYOH trail riders as well. Book this cozy cabin at Old Desperado Ranch. The cabin is located at Old Desperado Ranch which is a private, secluded small camp 1.25 miles down the gravel road from the main highway. For same-day arrival bookings, please inquire directly as it may show unavailable even when it is! There are only 3 cabins and so you will not be surrounded by people. You have a full kitchen and bathroom. Queen size bed in each loft. The main loft is accessed by stairs and the secondary loft is accessed by a ladder. There is a cozy gas fireplace, big screen smart TV and WIFI. The cabin is equipped with a full kitchen that includes all the dishes/cooking items you will need. There is a charcoal grill as well. We provide all linens and bathing towels (you will need to bring your own swimming towels). We also provide complimentary shampoo/soap and coffee/sugar/creamer. Sit on the porch overlooking a hillside and wet weather creek while being surrounded by beautiful scenery. If you want quiet seclusion, this is the cabin for you. Old Desperado Ranch has 4 horse stalls available for BYOH guests to rent. Guided BYOH trail rides also available for add’l charge. We also offer trailrides (as an add’l service paid directly at the ranch) through the beautiful hills, valleys and creeks of the area. You may even get a sighting of the wild horses! Current River, Sutton's Creek and the Jacks Fork River are just a short trip down the gravel road for you to swim, fish or just relax and grill lunch! We can set you up with a local outfitter for floating that will pick you up from the cabin and bring you back after your float. This cabin is best suited for two adults but will sleep five for those groups who have kids or don’t mind being cozy! Please note that the secondary sleeping loft is accessed by a ladder. The main sleeping loft is accessed by steps. The loveseat sized couch pulls out to a twin size bed. Beautiful bathroom with shower, toilet and vessel sink! The Main floor area measures 12 x 20 240 ft.². This is a true Tiny House. If you have any questions at all please don’t hesitate to ask! Rate is based on 2 people, each additional person is $10 per night. Pets (2 dogs max) are welcome with $10/nt fee per dog and $50 refundable pet deposit as long as pet policy is followed. Horses welcomed! $10/nt per stall. Please be sure to review cancellation policy when booking, also date changes require a 30 Day notice as well. No refunds for early departures. It should be noted that our properties are located in a rural somewhat remote area of the Ozarks, where you will find many different forms of wildlife. Raccoons, deer, mice, snakes, eagles, wild hogs, black bear, skunks and opossums and may be a nuisance at certain times of the year. Other pest, such as ants, wasps, mosquitoes, spiders, bees, flies and gnats also live nearby. Each property has a regular/quarterly pest control device, but we cannot guarantee against guests seeing any animals or pests during their stay and therefor no refunds will be made for this.
