Time away
We knew it was on the third level but would hesitate to repeat the three flight walk up. If one plans to cook bring your own frying pans. The unit was convenient to the pool and ocean walkway. The top bunk is not suitable for very young children due to the low guardrail and steps were tricky to navigate. The unit was comfortable and fine for 2 nights.

Location, location, location!
Fantastic location if you're looking for easy beach access, pool, and walking distance to some food/shops. Very short drive to several of the best restaurants in Emerald Isle and the Salty Pirate (a family favorite).

Convenience is key!
This condo was in the perfect location. We stayed here with my family one other time because it’s proximity to the beach and the pool. Very convenient location to all the other fun activities such as go-karting, putt putt and restaurants. My only gripe is that they only provide enough toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags for the first night so you have to provide the rest. I don’t remember that being the case the previous year we stayed. Also there were no beach chairs which I thought had been there previously. Overall it was pretty clean and comfortable but you really can’t beat the location.

2023 EI Vacation
As a stop over until our normal stay at EI this place was amazing. Between the pools for at night or on the way back to the beach or with the workout room in the the morning or the short walk to pizza and ice cream. This place had it all. The only thing that would get 5 stars all around is knowing it was on the 3rd floor however the walk up was better than other places and easy to move the suitcases up and down as well as groceries for the story. Would definitely stay again as the owner was very easy to deal with and have all question answered.

So very sorry this was not a great vacation for you. The shower curtains have been replaced. I do hope everything else was good. We strive for 5 star reviews and as you can see from the past, that is what we have been getting. Sorry you did not feel that way.

Family Stay
Property was as listed. It had everything we needed for 8 people for the week. The beach was easy to get to from the property, even passed a pool on the way! Communication was easy, clear, and transparent. We will consider this property to be a chart topper for our future stays.

Great location!
We loved that it was a private condominium. There was very little traffic, and it was extremely quiet! The views were great and the short walk to the beach wasn’t bad at all! The layout was perfect for our family!

Yikes!
I am the type of person that thoroughly looks into reviews before we rent a vacation- hence, I thought this property would be fine. Turns out that was incorrect! Upon arriving, the hall closet door was open which included a terribly disgusting air filter that had fallen out of place. I texted the owner and detailed a photo- I got a response stating some one would be over to deal with it… however no one ever showed up! The shower curtains in all the bathrooms were completely molded. The mattresses (in our opinion) were awful and so was the couch. We all left with back pain. When we stripped the bed to leave the mattress covers were stained. To top it off, we are fairly certain that there are rats. We woke up with a hole chewed in our bagel bag and our children’s snacks. I would like to give the benefit of the doubt on this one, but the oven mits were chewed upon arrival so surely someone knew. So yeah… you may want to just keep on looking! This ain’t it.

I am so very sorry you seem to have had a bad vacation. I did get the picture of the air filter but never told you we would be coming to replace. We try to do those things between rentals as not to disturb our guests. All the mattresses in the condo are under 4 years old with and the couch is less than 2 years old. I am very sorry they were not to your standards. We have had no other complaints. You never let us know about possible mice. We can't do anything if we do not know about it. We do not look at the oven mitts between renters. As you can see from all other other reviews they have been 4 and 5 star. We take pride in our rental and would never want anyone to have a bad vacation.

A great location in a wonderful neighborhood. Beach access just across the parking lot! It was a rainy weekend most of the time, but we had access to the indoor pool on site, which really great for the kids! We had a wonderful stay. Thank you!

Wonderful beach condo
We enjoyed our week at the beach and this condo had everything we needed. The proximity to the beach was great with a nice boardwalk and bathrooms. We also made use of the lighted tennis courts. Teresa answered all of our questions and was a great host. We look forward to returning.

This is an amazing location and the indoor pool was perfect for the kids in the cold weather. The condo was clean, spacious, and had the supplies we needed. Fall Family Getaway
We really enjoyed it all, the large space of the condo including each room, location on island, beautiful views, short walk to beach, absolutely anything and everything you could need or use available and personal favorite the coffee bar! We had a large crew with us and this place really felt like home! We stretched out and was very comfortable! Owners were so kind, we arrived late and really appreciated the patience, if at all possible we will for sure be back.

Amazing vacation spot
The condo was everything it said it would be. We had a slight issue accessing the property but it was all resolved quickly and efficiently with the property manager in less than 5min. Teresa was quick to answer any questions I had. The place was clean and tidy, had everything we needed. The views were lovely too. Convenient location. Security pass was cumbersome. Common areas of condos were well thought out. Stairs to 3rd floor were not plumb. Nice getaway. Unit was charming. Wash in machine was noisy.

Rest Assured that you will have a wonderful stay here
I brought my parents, daughter (5 yrs) and niece (6 yrs) for a vacation at this condo. The location was great for the children because it offered variety with access to a pool and beach as well as a pickle ball court. There were rainy day activities within a short drive (The NC Aquarium, Bowling/Arcade, movie theater etc.). The only negatives were that the mattresses were soft for my liking, two burners on the electric stove didn't work, the outside of the condo appeared weathered and we were on the third floor with no elevator to bring up heavy bags . The best parts of the condo were the outside balconies on the front and back. It was wonderful to sit outside and enjoy the ocean breeze. The kids enjoyed the bunk beds! Overall, we would highly recommend this location.

It was great overall. The stove did not have a vent of any type & the eyes did not sit flat. For most this is no biggie. We cooked in every night & I set off the fire alarm one night. Also there is no place to store beach gear we left it in the trunk of our car daily. It is a 3rd floor unit with steps only. Overall we had a good time & it was a great location.

Loved the condo, decor and location. Listing should give specific info about what is provided......and then have it! Initially got good response from owner but petered out. Also, even though this apartment is numbered 301......it should state clearly that it is a 3 floor climb - no elevator! Overall, had a GREAT stay.

Rest Ashored was our first condo experience and we couldn’t be any more pleased! The condo is in a good location on Emerald Isle with an easy walk two minute walk to the beach, it’s clean and well kept, and we loved sitting on the balcony watching the waves roll in.

The condo is very easy access to the beach and the pool. It has a good view of the ocean. The kitchen is well stocked with various cooking utensils. Note, remember to bring extra paper supplies. We would stay there again.

Perfect vacation!
This was our first time to Emerald Isle and we fell in love with it. The location of our unit was such a short walk to the beach and to the community pool. We went to the beach for hours and then relaxed by the pool. The community was close to restaurants and activities. The space was perfect for my family of 2 kids and my parents. It was everything it claimed to be! Definitely would go back.

Needs Upgrades
The TV in the living room had a large section across the top that was very dark, could hardly see what was on the screen. The other areas were discolored. The TV in the bedroom did not have any inputs, was useless. The couch in the living room was extremely uncomfortable, the cushions would spread apart with a large crack between them. All these need replacing.

I am so very sorry your vacation was not enjoyable. We have not had any problem with the TV in the living room. We have checked it since you left also. Maybe the channel you were watching? So sorry though about the TV in the bedroom. The HOA switched our cable and that TV does not work with the new way. It will have to be replaced. As far as the couch, with it being an L-shaped couch, it has hooks that hold it together. They had come undone. We do not mind at all coming over and fixing any problems you may have while you are visiting as you can see from some of our previous reviews. We want our renter's to enjoy their time in our home. Light and airy at the beach
We really enjoyed our stay at Rest Ashored. Spacious and clean condo. Having the washer and dryer was a huge plus! We had everything we could have needed for our week here including beach chairs and toys! We cooked several meals with all the equipment we could ask for. Although there are so many restaurants close by. We had to contact property manager due to locking ourselves out and they were super fast to get back to us! We would gladly stay again!

Wonderful multigenerational vacay!
What a beautiful place and location for our vacation! Originally it was just to be us and our two boys (11 and 14) but my parents ended up joining us for part of the week too. Loved that there was plenty of room around the table to eat together and loved the big comfy sofa for watching the Olympics each evening. Beach access was super easy. Plenty of room to find space for our group. Nice beach. Great restaurants really near by. Loved Gaffers. Also the bagel place near the go-karts (which were really fun). Really great location overall, very happy w this area of EI and really enjoyed the condo!

Pebble Beach Stay
What a great stay at Pebble Beach. Our visit started with an AC issue and the owners were excellent at overcoming obstacles. They had an AC company out to the property within hours and the cool breezes blowing so we could keep the condo cool. This says a lot about how much they care for the comfort of their guests. Future guest will be able to experience a brand new AC system!! Don't overlook this property. Book now and you will not be disappointed. Close to shopping and restaurants. View of the ocean from every bedroom. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely condo!
I was the supervisory adult for a number of teens who were on an overnight vacation from working at a nearby summer camp. The condo was lovely and was well stocked for cooking for a large group of hungry kids. Beds were comfortable, plenty of seating in the living area. I would absolutely stay at this property again, with or without a large group of teens.

Beautiful place to stay!!
The condo was very clean, decorated well and very nice! The beds were comfortable and everyone slept comfortably. There were extra blankets in the closets, towels for the bathrooms, pots and pans to use, supplies to clean with, iron and a washer and dryer! There were also fans in the closets that we could use as well! Being someone who sleeps with a fan, I found this to be such a great little bonus! The owner even knocked on the door after we arrived, welcomed us there and gave us cute little coozies to use to. It was a very short walk across the parking lot to the beach and the outdoor pool! Overall our stay was wonderful and I will definitely be looking to book here on the future!

My family really enjoyed time together at Rest Ashored! Teresa was very responsive in setting up the rental and with a couple questions along the way. Plenty of room and amenities for family with different ages. (My teenage nephew enjoyed being able to hang out on the deck away from my talkative 6 year old. 6 year old loved getting pool time and beach time.) Best selection of cooking pots, pans & utensils I’ve ever had at a beach condo made for easy time cooking family meals. And of course Emerald Isle beach is beautiful! Thanks for a great getaway!

Great stay just steps from the beach!
We had a wonderful stay at Rest Ashored! The view from the balcony is fantastic and the walk to the beach isn’t very far at all. Super clean and very well-appointed. The amenities at Pebble Beach are great as well (very nice pool and tennis courts - 24 hour security that was very visible in a gated community). Six adults were able to stay here very comfortably!
