« Top notch, it wasn’t our first choice (because we are loyalty members at a chain nearby) but it definitely will be next time! Convenient location less than 3 miles from Emerald Isle. Easy check in with pleasant staff. Very clean all around, nice outdoor pool, workout room, dining area for the continental breakfast (good coffee btw). We had a good sized room with a jacuzzi, very comfortable mattress and even though our room faced the street, it was so quiet. Absolutely no complaints »

« No hangers, no place to hang anything, lamp without a shade, several outlets didn’t work, carpet disgusting, mold in the shower, broken door lock, and refrigerator froze my food. »

« The house had an unpleasant odor, the kitchen pots were not very clean, and there were no blankets provided for sleeping, which was inconvenient. If the host could improve the cleanliness of the kitchen, freshen up the house, and ensure blankets are available, it would make the stay much more comfortable. »

« Everything was great until I pulled back the covers to get in the king size bed and found it was full of sand and very small dark curly hairs. Since I didn’t want to cause a fuss at 1 am with the security guard, who was the only staff available from 7 - 7, I pulled all the bedding off and slept in one of the twin beds instead. Definitely a one and done at the Atlantic Beach Resort for me. I would ask for a refund if I thought they would issue one. »

« The staff needs to enforce better parking there were a lot of trucks that were double parked and when I asked front desk they told me there was nothing they could do and I just needed to ride around. It was midnight when this happened. They took my number and name and promised I would t get towed but I had to park in front of boat ramp. Other than that loved the location and will definitely be back. »

To my surprise, the bathroom only includes one sink and doesn’t have any counter to put cups, soak and other items. I had to flush two times to clean the toilet. I woke up at midnight by click-click noise like a theft trying to open the door and later on I figured it came from the refrigerator starting. I had to turn it off the next night.
