« I had a brilliant stay at Katie’s Cottage. The owner was very kind to me before and during my stay and communicated with me very kindly. The cottage is in a great location, quiet and peaceful. « Not boutique as the name suggests, needs alot of work doing to make it presentable. TV had no signal and the bar downstairs makes it impossible to sleep before 1.30am. Avoid if you are seeking a relaxing stay. »

« On arrival we were greeted and shown to our spotlessly clean room with all the amenities we required truly home from home. From the lovely warm room after a day out in the unfortunately rainy weather I personally always enjoyed a soak in a lovely hot bath. This is our second stay at Highfield House and it was a memorable stay. I would highly recommend the Highfield to anyone who is visiting Skipton give it a try you won’t be disappointed. « Had a wonderful time in Skipton and the house was beautifully placed just outside the main strip. Everything was beautifully presented and everything I needed was there. The photos didn’t do it justice as it was so well appointed clean and organised. I would definitely stay again. »

« We had 3 nights here and really enjoyed ourselves We made the most of the lovely pool. Had 4 swims in the 4days… the leisure staff were always so helpful and friendly. « No cell phone service inside the hotel. Food average and attached Pub/restaurant needs to be renovated. »

« We were walking The Dales Way and arrived on a very wet Sunday afternoon. The staff at the pub were extremely welcoming and reserved us a table for dinner. The shepherds hut was lovely and cosy (underfloor heating), exactly what we needed after a long wet walk! The breakfast hamper was very welcome too. »
