'Heel teleurgestellend. Niet omdat het slecht weer was (daar hadden we rekening mee gehouden) maar wat we niet dachten is dat een hotel faciliteit daar niet goed op in kan spelen. Het effect was dat we het erg koud en ongezellig hebben gehad. Zeker omdat er in de villa's geen internet verbinding is. Daarvoor moet je naar de centrale ruimte (die weer erg koud is). Dit alles wel voor ongeveer 200 euro per nacht.'

'This lodging is a hidden gem away from Poas but close enough to get to the crater within 20 minutes. The views from the dining area were spectacular. The owner, Cindy, communicated clearly and often. She provided excellent directions to the property which is located high up on a hill in a residential area. The bedding was comfortable. 'Staff met you at the front, Spanish-speaking only but super nice. The room was fantastic when we stayed. It was a little bit colder so there was a space heater. There’s a menu in the room for options for meals. We didn’t partake in any of this, but it was great to know that we had a food available if needed. 'I can’t recommend enough! We stayed in San Jose the night before our flight, after spending the week in Fortuna we weren’t sure what to expect. We booked a cheap stay, and it was fantastic! It was clean, safe, and comfortable! It’s inside a locked gate, with a safe place to park. It’s walking distance to plenty of food and shops. I can’t recommend enough! '
